Large Obsidian Colored Scale (Titan Lamia)

The scale is very large, possibly bigger than your head. It is very dark, darker than night with almost a silver reflection of light. The size and coloration of the scale makes it clear that it is from a Titan Lamia.

Titan Lamia are a type of lamia made from converting a female giant. While lamia have been know to hold male giants, they are not compatible and can not impregnate any lamias. Titan Lamia are usually a rare case as it would take a group of lamias to sudew and convert a female giant. Giants can be 15-25ft tall with great strength and the titan lamia is no exception to this stature. Some would say titan lamia may even be stronger than a normal giant. Most have completely black scales described as slabs of obsidiane and their tails can be anywhere from 50-350ft long. Their skin is a lighter shad of grey and they will still retain any physical abnormalities above the waist such as scares, lost limbs, or any other permanent markings. They prefer to make their dwellings in any large counciled areas like caves, caverns, canyons, anywhere with enough space to house and counsel them. When hunting a person, they will use brute strength and simply grab them. If they are up for a fight, they will beat their prey into submission until the victim either passes out or yields. They treat their victims fairly well, especially if they put up a fight. Researchers believe this is because giants value honor in combat and this may carry over even after being converted. Because Titan Lamia are too large for conventional sex with male prey, over time they have developed a special venom. It not only increases blood circulation, but also penis size, sensitivity, and cell production. Though, this only works efficiently for less than average sized titan lamia as larger ones will inject their victim with a more potent or effective venom which can result in intence pain or the **** of the victim as their penis will grow beyond what the body can support.

In early days, some tribes believed them to be gods and would give them live offerings as payment to keep them happy so as not to just kill them. Though, today they are actively hunted in hopes of extinction but they can always be created. Given their size and strength, they are often seen as creatures that cannot be engaged by one person. Entire cities have been toppled by theses beasts, granted most were not as big as today's, but one case was on a completely different level. A large kingdom stretching over a quarter of a continent was demolished by a growing army of the beasts. It was know as the "War of Serpents." Although only 10 titan lamias toke part, they created an army of lamia that intentionally targeted the kingdom. Each city or settlement they captured provided them with more people to increase their numbers. But as the kingdom fell, they fell with it. Whole armies and towns would group together to take out just one of the beasts. Those titan lamia hold the record as the largest ever recorded, standing 50ft tall at the waist. In the end, the kingdom was destroyed as the final titan lamia died in the capital city as it burned. Once dead, their followers scattered and the kingdom, its history, even its name has been forgotten ever since. Today, the lamia population is still dangerously high and could cause a repeat of The War of Serpents, but on a much larger scale(no pun intended). They are not normally trifaled with unless they pose a threat to a local group, city, or community.

You can see a large 17ft hole has been smashed in the right wall of the building just around the corner where Messy found the scale. Maybe she had the treasure, or maybe it was inside. Though not many would think willingly going into a Titan Lamia's den to be a good idea.
