Jess

With the yellow sundress in hand, Jess headed back for the fitting room where she had left Mackenzie.

"Don't worry Mackenzie!" Jess triumphantly said as she pushed open the door to the fitting room, only to find a complete stranger standing there topless with Sharon pulling a measuring tape around her chest.

"O-oops!" Jess mumbled as the woman shrieked. She quickly spun back around and closed the door behind her. Where the hell had Mackenzie gone?

Jess began walking around the underwear store, keeping an eye out for the distinctive red hair of her friend. Instead she came across Amy and she seemed to be rapidly rehanging various kinds of lingerie. Jess made her way over to the dark haired girl, hoping to find out where Mackenzie had wound up.

"Is that Mackenzie's dress?" Amy asked.

"Yeah, I'm trying to get it back to her," Jess said. "Do you know where she is? The stall was, uh, occupied."

"Believe it or not I just saw Mackenzie and Lily running out of the store. I was just about to go looking for them after I finished putting this stuff back."

"Wait, if I have her dress, what was Mackenzie wearing?!"

Amy gave Jess a pointed look and raised her eyebrows.

"Shit!" Jess said as she took off running out of the store, "I've gotta go find her!"

"I'm right behind you!" Amy said, haphazardly throwing bras back onto racks. Jess took off towards the exit, and emerged into the mall itself once again.

Now where would they have gone? she mused. Not to the left, there's barely any stores that way. And to the right starts getting near the food court. Jess noticed the store across from her, a stylish outlet that she knew Mackenzie had bought things from in the past. Of course! She'd naturally be looking to buy something else to wear.

So Jess entered the clothing store, not even noticing the loud splashing sound coming from the fountain not far away. Still carrying Mackenzie's dress, she began looking for her friend again.
