Chapter 10 by Loomkr Loomkr

What punishment will Mackenzie face?

Isn't it kind of hot out? Why don't you go for a swim-

-I know just the place.

Mackenzie's jaw dropped. They had to be kidding.

Or rather I know of two places, you can pick which while were on the way, but you better get moving.

In the distance Mackenzie could hear the faint metallic tune to "turkey in the straw" float through the neighborhood on the hot summer air.

follow the drone and I'll guide you. Stay close.

As soon as Mackenzie lowered the page the drone took off. Much, much faster than she anticipated.

"HEY WA- " Mackenzie called after but gulped down her cry, catching herself mid-sentence.

"I'll guide you."

"Could this person really be trusted?" She thought, her bare feet curling with unease at the thought, repeatedly picking up and dropping small bits of gravel and dirt from the path under foot. The tune was growing louder now and in her moment of hesitation the drone vanished from view. She had no other choice, it was this or fail a second time, and at her penalty task too. At this Mackenzie clumsily sprinted after the drone with the hopes of catching up, her feet hurting with every step on the hot gravel while her breasts bounced with every stride. Already behind she didn't have time to cover them. "Okay, Okay, whether or not I'm seen now. If I don't comply its over anyway."

The alley fed into a narrow side-yard between two pastel painted homes, one a light blue and the other a creme yellow. Mackenzie slowed, approaching with caution taking note of how both buildings had a window's view of this short grassy no mans land. This was undoubtedly going to prove an issue.

"Fuck." Mackenzie breathed, Pushing a few stray strands of hair back behind her ear. The curvaceous redhead could easily imagine how anyone who just so happened to be looking out their window would get an eyeful of the full "Mackenzie experience". She would have to continue make a run for it, Mackenzie thought as the coast seemed clear for the moment, It was after all about lunchtime. If ever there was a time to bear it all and just streak down the street, now was it.

Mackenzie's heart beat faster and her breath fluttered at the thought of what she was considering. "There isn't another option," She lied, trying to mentally prepare herself to make the run. "There has to be some cover nearby. A target, a goal, a safety net for me at the end of the sprint."

looking about there were a number of options for her to aim for, the closest appearing to be some bushes separating the houses from a sidewalk that wound itself around the road. Just beyond that in the roads center was a island, home to its own little forested hill with PLENTY of cover to hide in.

"That would be at-least an extra full 8-12 strides though Could I risk it?" She chewed on her lip, anxiously mulling over the possibility...

It was then that Mackenzie finally noticed something out of the corner of her eye. Too small that she initially took no note of, but there were some low shrubbery pocked with flowers that grew in a soil bed up along the edge of the blue house next to her. If she were to crawl It would bring her that much closer to the road, all while probably providing the cover she desperately needed to plan her next move. Given though that no one happened to poke their head out the window and look down at the bare-butt redhead wading through their flower-patch below.

It was still risky, a little less maybe, but still risky. That was for sure...

What cover does Mackenzie pursue?
