Honey Trail?

While trying to decide, you also notice a few droplets and puddles of a odd golden liquid that leads off to beyond a tree line. You stick your right hand's index and middle finger into the closest puddle and lift some up to your nose. It smells sweet, very sweet, almost too sweet. You decide to have just a little taste to find out what it is, if it smells this sweet it might be ok to just try. You lick the the glob of honey off your fingers and it tastes even sweeter than it smells. It is honey, very... Very delicious honey.

You put your finger completely in your mouth and lick the rest away until they are clean, not even sticky. You choose to follow the honey trail for a bit, just to see where it's coming from. Maybe you can find more, or bottle it and sell it if you find the source. You head past the tree line and pass through more murky waters onto another small island formation. As you follow, it you manovor around yellow waxy formations piled or built up and getting increasingly bigger the further you go.

Eventually, you come across a big tunnel dug into a large mound of dirt going deep into the earth. But what is it lined with? Some kind of odd material is covering the walls and opening of the tunnel, but you can't tell what it is until you get closer and look at it in a better light.
