Friday

As you wake up on friday, you feel weird. Some sort of happy weird. As much as it hurt you, that the man you loved was going out with another woman tonight, you knew it would all be over by tomorrow. One day left, only one day left until I will be with Brian, you whisper to yourself. There was no way you could hide your excitement. To you, it was already obvious what you had to do, you would become a girl, Brian's girl. You just had to figure out how to make the change permanent, without people noticing that it was you after all.

The last days you've texted with Karen a lot. She proved to be a real friend and helped you with many things. She even suggested to skip classes today and make it a 'girls day' to which you gladly agreed. You check your radio watch and realise that you have to head over soon. You qickly dress yourself, nothing too fancy. A pair of boy shorts, skinny jeans, a shirt and jacket then you start to pack your bag. You forgot to ask Karen what kind of party it was and what you were supposed to wear other than something sexy, so you just packed everything that you bought the other day. On top you packed the pink sweater from the game.

You leave your room and quietly close your door, then sneak through the hall and out of the house. As soon as you are out of sight, you switch the jacket with the pink sweater and already feel happier. The last days as a boy have been draining you, tiring you and in the end you felt locked and unable to breathe. You smile and send Karen a text that you are on your way over to her place now. Even though you are dressed unrevealing and plain you get a few whistles here and there. You look even more feminine than you did a few days ago and the attention makes you more confident. If people think I am a beautiful girl right now, I most likely look even better when I am all dressed up. You couldn't help but giggle softly and think of Brian. He deserved a beautiful girl by his side, didn't he?

As you reach Karen's place she already stands at the door and flashes you a smile "Hey Doe, what took you so long?" she laughs and opens her arms. You hug her and the two of you kiss each other on each cheek. "I had to make sure not to get caught by my frat" you explain yourself as she leads you into her dorm room. "That looks empty" you blurt out. "How can you live here?" She smiles. "You and me, we are friends right, Doe?" You nod. "Of course we are, Karen. I feel like I have know you for all my life. What is this about?" you ask a little confused. "Well, we had some trouble with a tennant and she was thrown out, so I hinted that a friend from college was looking for a dorm room..." She stopped and looked at you. You were still confused and both of you stayed quiet for way too long as you finally understood what she was saying. You jump into her arms and hug her as tight as you could. "Thank you. That is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. How can I repay you?" you whisper into her ear. You are so happy that you start to cry.
