Epilogue: Blaze's Suicide Squad: The Second Mission

"...so I got to thinking, so many people call me a linebacker with a skin condition—why not? I mean, you've seen half the villains in Arkham. Top tier athletes. I was talking to my friend Chet, who had some Hollywood connections—he thought the Villain League Football was a great idea! All we needed was a little seed money to shoot the pilot—" Killer Croc said.

"And that's when you robbed the bank," Blaze said. Bullets pinged against the fragment of wall they were hiding behind.

"Yeah," he said sheepish. A bullet chipped a couple scales off his shoulder. He was too big to hide completely...or the wall was too small.

"And that's why you're back with the Suicide Squad," the ball of black lightning between her hands grew, and the demon carefully ran her hands along it.

"Yeah," he looked sad.

"FIRE IN THE HOLE!" Blaze yelled, stood and tossed.

Bearded paramilitary types in combat fatigues and with illegal automatic rifles. Behind them, in the buildings, the wives and children. Blaze's burst of magic landed just behind the first line of combatants who had pinned them down.

Thunder burst forth. The milita-types were knocked flat. Killer Croc was already over the wall, loped past Blaze, fangs bared. There was a special place in his stomach for child molesters.

Twenty-Four Hours Earlier

"...one of those Church of Latter Day Saints offshoots. Fortified compound, survivalist types, militia, politics completely off the map, and the daughter of one of these guntoting relgious crazies managed to escape and talk about serial sexual ****."

"With all due respect ma'am," Captain Flagg said. "Why us?"

"One, because the FBI doesn't want another Waco," Amanda Waller said. "And two, because it's suspected that they're involved with the manufacture and distribution of super-**** Venom and Velocity 9. So I want this handled quickly and quietly."

Blaze leaned forward. "Do we have to take these bastards alive?"

Amanda Waller stared into the demon's eyes without flinching. "Minimal casualties...among the women and children."

Now

Blaze burned a path toward the **** lab, Rick Flagg covering her six. Katana, Captain Boomerang, and Harley Quinn had gone around to secure the women and children. Killer Croc and Bane launched themselves against the Venom-empowered milita men.

Anyone that stepped in front of the demon died. Black lightning poured out of her hands, cutting speedsters in two, tearing guntoting would-be-Rambos apart. Flagg put a bullet in anything that was still wiggling after she got through it.

There was something wrong. The air stank of ozone and burned flesh, gunsmoke and shit as dying men let out their bowels...but there was something beneath that. Sickly-sweet corruption. It set Blaze's hackles on edge, and even the purely human members of the team could feel it.

The door to the **** lab was a couple of inches of solid steel. Blaze ripped it off and threw it away.

The breath of hell blew over them, warm and wet.

Behind her, Rick Flagg vomited.

Harley Quinn appeared from the side. "Blazie, there's somethin' not right! We went to get the kids, but they're gone, and the mothers are all dead, and they're..."

The Clown Princess's voice faltered as she saw what was in the lab. What was left of the kids.

"The ****," Blaze said, and swallowed. "They were...their own kids."

The demon shook. "Flagg?"

"Yeah?" He said, vomit still dribbled from his lips.

"There's no one left alive in here. No one... Pull everyone back," Blaze's black hair stood on end as the charge built up. Black lightning crackled between her fingertips. "I'm going to go Sodom and Gomorrah on this place."

"Roger that," his hand went to his earpiece. "This is Flagg! Everyone pull back, now!"

After

The closest bar was thirty miles away. If they looked out the window, they could still see the smoke rise. They drank in silence.

"So, uh, how's your girlfriend?" Croc said, the brown glass bottle dwarfed in his hand.

"Twelve weeks. She's worried about her weight," Blaze didn't really taste the beer. It had been a long time since she had been that angry.

"Morning sickness?" Harley asked. "Pam, she, uh, she's been working on something for that. 'cause y'know," she coughed. "That dick you gave me works real good."

Blaze blinked. "Yeah. Not always during the morning, though. Weird, how we call it that, right?"

Flagg came back from the bathroom. Katana emerged a few minutes later. She had a vaguely stunned expression on her face.

"Where's Boomerang?" he asked.

"Probably stealing a sheep," Bane croaked. "Or shagging it."

Flagg checked his watch and frowned. "Last call. I'll find him."

After After

"...officially, they were stockpiling fertilizer explosives, which were accidentally set off and destroyed the entire compound," Waller said. "What is your assessment of the mission, captain?"

"We weren't expecting that," Flagg said honestly. "I mean, the militia, cult, whatever they were, they went down easy, but the lab...we should have got there sooner."

Waller set the folder down. "We didn't know. You couldn't have known. Shit happens in the dark, Flagg. It's our job to clean it up. Another mission with the objectives met...as well as possible...and no casualties, which is amazing. How is Blaze handling it?"

Flagg looked Waller in the eye. "I know she's this big bad demon from Hell with centuries of experience dealing with the worst that humankind has to offer," he said. "But I think she took this one personally."

After After After

Blaze slipped in. She moved through the darkness like she had been born there. Undressed silently, so as not to wake her girlfriend. Lois Lane was sprawled out on the bed in only her bra and panties. Slept on her back now, and snored the worse for it. Not that Blaze minded. The demon sat on the edge of the bed and stared at the swollen stomach. It was pretty prominent, for just twelve weeks.

In her sleep, Lois mumbled. "Angie...cocoa butter..."

The demon reached out a hand and laid it on the smooth skin. As if to reassure herself that it was real. That this was real.

She didn't want to tell Lois about it. It would just give her nightmares.

Her hand slipped down lower. Lois's pubic hair. She hadn't shaved it lately, and it was growing around her panties. Quietly, Blaze pulled the panties aside to expose the slit. Brought her nose down to breathe in her pregnant girlfriend's smell. It was nothing like the scent of rotting flesh in the lab.

I did the right thing, Blaze told herself. She hadn't told Flagg about what she did after. Who she had called to collect them. Her brother had _thanked _her for the bounty.

Not so long ago, I would have been the one to welcome them to hell.

Hands settled on her horns.

"You like what you see?" Lois said, very much awake.

"I think I might have a taste," Blaze said back.

"Hmm. Did you get the bad guys?"

The demon's tongue paused halfway to her girlfriend's pussy.

"Yes," she said thickly. "We got 'em."

"Good," Lois pulled Blaze's face closer. "Welcome home, Angie."

In the dark, the demon's face hidden by the swell of her stomach, the tongue buried inside her crotch, Lois moaned.

She couldn't see the tears roll down Blaze's cheeks. Lois could only feel the warm desperation as her girlfriend lapped at her cunt, the way the demonic dickgirl's hands gripped her as though afraid to let her go.
