"You will conceive my child," Blaze said as Lois read the contract details. "And bear and birth it."

Lois looked at her mother in horror. "Did you know about this?"

Ella Lane nodded silently.

"Mom!" she hissed.

"Well, it's not like you're with anyone darling. Having a baby isn't so bad. I had two. And you've always been more responsible than Lucy. I just thought..."

Lois glowered. Ella bridled, glowering back.

"Don't blame your mother, Lois Lane. The desire is mine." The demon's eyes began to glow slightly. "A daughter conceived and born on Earth is my aim. My daughter shall thus have a foothold in this world, unable to be banished, an extension of my power and will in this realm!"

The reporter looked back at Blaze.

"So we have to have sex. Unprotected."

"At least once," the demon said with a smile. "And really, as many times as it takes. Although beautiful as you, I'm sure I could be convinced to sample your charms. Or, if you disagree, those of your sister..."

"Thank you," the demon said. "Your mother's soul shall be free to leave as soon as we...seal the deal, so to speak."
