Boring Serious Talk

"That was...wow," Blaze said. Then she sighed. "I suppose we need to talk about the boring, serious stuff now."

"Hmm," the half-demon reporter replied. She ran a pink finger down across the scarlet skin. "I suppose we do need to sort out where we go from here. I can't exactly show up to work like this."

"I should be able to help you with that," Blaze said. "Your whole nature is changed now. You should have powers like mine...I can teach you magic, glamours, shapeshifting..."

"Sounds like we'll be spending a lot of time together," Lois smiled...and then her smile wilted a little. "But that's going to take time, isn't it? I won't be able to learn all that tonight, or even over a weekend, will I?"

"No," Blaze conceded. "Weeks, months at least. If we go to hell, where time flows differently, perhaps you could learn enough to pass on your own."

Lois licked her lips, the forked tongue running over suddenly sharper teeth. Weeks or months with Blaze, learning magic, fucking every night...

The demon continued on as Lois ran the thoughts through her head.

"Of course, then there's the matter of us..."

Lois twitched her nose. Her lover's pure white eyes made it difficult to read her emotions. "Yes. Us. What are we now? Lovers, certainly. And I'd like to go on...loving you. But are we friends with benefits, or girlfriends, or...I mean, are we monogamous, or open?"

"What do you want us to be?" Blaze said seriously.

The reporter paused. Closed her eyes. In her heart of hearts, she just wanted to make love to Blaze over and over. To carry her babies. Her relationship with Superman was already like something of a distant memory...but she knew that was the thrill of a new relationship, a new love interest. Lois knew she had to use her head as well as her heart whn she answered Blaze.
