A Diner!

You found yourself sitting alone in a big empty diner waiting for your date to arrive where you had just a glass of water to pass the time. You hoped nobody you knew showed up as this was a pretty popular place for people at your school to hang out. You couldn't help but be a little mad at your mother for organising this entire scenario. And it was worse knowing that anybody could walk through that door and sit down telling you that they were your date and as you thought about it that just happened.

You didn't know who you were expecting but it certainly was not her! Zoe the most awkward person from your class was standing in front of you blushing immensely while wearing a horrifically puffy pink dress with too many bows. Were you really going on a date with her? This is going to be awful! You make eye contact and you see her face go bright red as she realises who her date is with.

She moves over to the table and dantily sits down opposite you, "Um. Hi." She says flustered as you pray that the waitress comes over soon.

"Hey." You say clumsily, "Uh you look nice."

That was a lie you don't think you'd ever seen a more delicate dress.

She blushed in response but did at least smile, "Thanks..."

"Well. This is a little awkward right?" You said.

"Maybe a little..."

You were unsure what to do and were almost lost in thought as you noticed...
