☆ Act 1: The Birthday

Now, in the present day, Finn and Zoey have finished most of their training, and she just turned 18 a month ago. Half of the remaining villagers went to explore, leaving only 6 people in the village, Finn, Faranne, Lilith, Zoey, Itzel and Milky. Finn had grown a lot since he arrived for the first time in Elvine, he was now 1.8m tall, with a good physique from the training, very smart from his education, and more confident than ever. He had already matured, and proved many times that he was a man, that could defend himself, and even protect his friends and loved ones, but he wasn't quite yet an adult, not until now... after 7 and a half years of living, and growing up in this island, Finn was finally going to become an adult, as today is his birthday.

"Good morning, handsome..." - Zoey whispered into Finn's ear, which woke him up immediately. He sat up, and in confusion, looked around his room, only to see that all of his friends were there, surrounding his bed, as they all stared at him. He couldn't make much sense of what was going on, and he was even more confused when Lilith pulled him into a big, loving hug.

"Happy birthday Finn!!" - Lilith exclaimed cheerfully, as she held him tightly in her arms, she rubbed her body against his, to show him even more affection and love, and while he was a little weirded out by it, he still enjoyed it quite a bit, so he chuckled. Even though Lilith congratulated him for turning 18, he still was confused, it was only when he looked in front of him, and saw Faranne holding a big cake, while she smiled at him, when he remembered it was his big birthday.

"Wh-what is going on?" - Finn asked, as he looked at each of his friends in shock. He knew what was happening, but he still couldn't believe it, so his question was mainly from the surprise factor, but it did sound very dumb, which was something Faranne was going to joke about.

"What do you mean? It's your birthday of course!! Don't tell me you forgot, you little dorc..." - Faranne said jokingly, which made him giggle. Even when she clearly insulted him, Finn knew she was being playful, and in fact he loved it when she would call him those names, they were not insulting to him, they were more like teasing, while still showing how much Faranne cared for him.

"Whoa... I mean... thank you so much girls! This is amazing..." - Finn said nervously, still surprised by the fact that all of his friends decided to celebrate his birthday as soon as he woke up. He smiled at all of them, to show his gratitude, but then saw Itzel, and felt like he wasn't including him when he said "girls". Itzel was used to it though, so he understood, but even then, Finn wanted to thank him personally.

"Thanks man... you too are amazing" - Finn said to Itzel, with a smile, that made the halfling smile back, but as he did, Finn noticed the other friend standing next to him. It was Zoey, who was giving him a flirtatious look, that she started doing recently, which caused Finn to turn his attention to her, and return the look. They have flirted for years at this point, but it really seemed like this year they have flirted the most.

Finn got a little distracted flirting with Zoey, and even though they just exchanged looks, he knew both of them were going to have a little chat later on the day, and he was looking forward to it. But before he could think more about Zoey, Finn got interrupted by Faranne, who got closer to him, to place the giant cake on his lap.

"Come on, time to make your three wishes" - Faranne ordered Finn, with a sweet tone, that convinced him to do it. He thought for a while, it was very difficult for him to come up with three wishes, as he had so much he wanted in his life. But after a few long seconds, he finally leaned forward, and blew the candles, so then everybody cheered.

"What did you wish for?" - Lilith asked immediately, after, with an innocent tone.

"He can't tell us or it won't come true..." - Zoey replied to her question, to explain how the wish rules worked, which caused Lilith to frown, as she genuinely didn't know, even after celebrating dozens of birthdays throughout the years.

"I just hope one of them involves me..." - Zoey muttered rather flirtatiously, but Finn heard it, and looked at her, to just smirk at her. She flushed, and smiled back, as she began to dream about all the beautiful things they could do if they were together as a couple.

"Well, let's continue this party outside, I'll let you get ready and then you can come out to join us" - Faranne said, as she took the cake outside to place it on a large table she had set up for breakfast. They all followed except Zoey, who stayed in Finn's room, as he went to the bathroom to clean his face, and talk to himself in the mirror. When he walked back out, he was surprised to see that his crush was waiting for him, suspiciously smiling at him, without saying a word.

"What are you doing here? Don't you want to go and eat cake?" - Finn asked playfully to Zoey, who gave him a flirty look, and slowly walked closer to him, until they were face to face, to then look at him closely in the eye, and smile again, before starting to talk.

"Just wanted to tell you that i plan to celebrate your birthday in a special way... but that will have to be later so let's go have breakfast for now and then we can talk about it a little more..." - Zoey whispered seductively in Finn's ear, which gave him chills. He just chuckled awkwardly, as she slowly walked out the door, he froze in the moment and, as Zoey noticed this, she turned around to get his attention.

"Come on! Don't you want to eat cake, because I surely do!" - Zoey said, with a more friendly tone, before walking out of his room. Finn couldn't talk properly, after Zoey apparently tried to seduce him, so he just nodded as he saw her walk out. Actually, he just stared at her cute butt, as he suddenly craved for cake, and was excited to celebrate his birthday...
