Chapter 4

What do you find in the mud?

"Boar" Tracks!

You think it would be best to follow the "Boar" Tracks thinking that whatever made the other trail might not be friendly. You are not ready to go actively hunting down dangours creatures. Following a boar is a much safer lead.

You start following the tracks for a while, jumping over boulders and cutting through thick bushes and branches until you come across a large den carved into the side of a massive hill. The entrance is large and the den itself could be considered as big as a one story house.

Right inside, you see something slowly move up and down as it breaths. You get closer to get a better look, hunkering down behind a near by rock and peeking around the side. You're almost shocked to see that it is a tall 8ft MinaBoar sleeping on a large pelt layied out on the floor of the den.

MinaBoars are a large muscular hybrid of a human and a boar and are considered the cousins to the more well known Minators. They may look similar, but with closer inspection their differences are quite obvious. First off, they do not have horns but two large tusks they use for lifting food into their mouths or sometimes heavy objects. Their heads and fur is also that of a boars' but their hoved legs are just as strong and muscular as their necks, capable of cracking rocks under their shear strength. While Minators may prefer mazes or cave systems to call home, MinaBoars usually live in dence forests or distant hills. They have been known to mate with humans just to keep their numbers up as almost all are born male, much like the Minator. They can sometimes learn basic English, but usually only utter a few words at a time. It is also worth noting that they are the natural enemy of the goblin, often attacking their camps and hunting them as their main source of meat. If none are around, they will resort to hunt more common woodland pray such as deer or even bears if hungry enough.

Right now, you are croucing behind a small boulder in front of the den's entrance and the MinaBoar has yet to notice you in its slumber. It snorts and snores as the loincloth flaps with the gust of air it blows from its mouth. Its arms and legs are covered in a few scares, but all have begun to fade with age. You could try to leave him alone and move on to something else, but who knows what he might have? Maybe even the chest. You could try to sneak up on him, or you could just go straight in swinging. Maybe you can just talk to him. Or maybe another option.

Do you move on or attack? And if so, how?
