Strip-a-thon: Gifted Short Stories with Fictional Characters

Welcome to the Strip-a-thon! This is a combination strip-show, game-show, and donathon all in one. Contestants are brought from across all fictional universes and made to compete in broadcasted shows that test their fortitude in the face of humiliating circumstances. Each contestant will wear a special, themed costume and participate in this harrowing game-show, designed to strip them down to their skivvies and beyond. Once all rounds are over, they have to watch out for a "bonus round!"

For participating, each contestant will earn a fabulous prize, to be collected personally or donated to a charity of their choosing. There's just one rule they all must follow: if they give up part-way, the prize goes poof! This should give them some good incentive to grit their teeth and bare it all!

These strip shows are all short story gifts, given to your fellow CHYOA users! You may give a gift, or you may be interested in receiving a gift. Rules for each are as follows.

Requesting a gift:

If you'd like to see a strip-show featuring your favorite character, then you're in luck! There's a handy form you can fill out to get your character entered into the pool that gifters can choose from. The rules are all written on the form.

I reserve the right to delete any submissions that don't follow the rules given on the forms. Also, none of these requests are guaranteed to get written, by me or anyone else. Please don't bug people about it!

And hey, if you're requesting a gift, why not consider also giving one? You're not required to, though! Make as many requests as you like, even if you aren't giving a gift.

Giving a gift:

If you'd like to write a short story as a gift, use these spreadsheets to select the criteria! The rules for how to write are described in detail in Guidelines to the right of the window once you click to add a chapter. You can choose from anything on these spreadsheets, or, for a fun twist, try randomly selecting from them! An easy way to get random numbers is using random.org , if you're interested.

Please do not create stubs with no intention of finishing them or intending for others to pick them up instead. If you can't finish, theres no harm, but I want to minimize the number of unfinished stubs.

First is the character spreadsheet. This is the first part of the branch, determining who your branch focuses on. Ideas marked in green have previously been written, though if you want, you can choose them again. This is simply to help fulfill as many ideas as possible! You can also use multiple characters, if you like! Your character chapter should introduce the character and describe their characteristics for the reader. You can include an image if you want, ideally as a link, or otherwise an embedded image, but it isn't necessary.

Your second chapter should have the character(s) changed into the costume they'll be to wear. They should start out with a lot of clothing pieces so there's something to remove!

Your third chapter will begin the gimmick that strips the character, which will carry through the rest of the story. It's basically the method by which they strip or are stripped.

Once you're done with all of the chapters you care to do, I'd encourage you to do a bonus round! These are some slightly more scenes you can use as a climax. Feel free to do none, or more than one, at your leisure.

If you're having a hard time figuring out how it should go, read my Palutena branch to understand the basic flow. There's no restriction on chapter length, but if your chapter doesn't show a certain amount of effort, it may be rejected. Also, to avoid having people submit hanging branches just trying to get somebody else to write them (that's what the character submission form is for!), please note that I won't approve any of your chapters until you have written either all the way to the first strip chapter or have a substantial character chapter. Once you've written a handful of chapters, I can add you as an Author to the story so you can publish your own chapters without me moderating them.
