Chapter 41 in Game Monster
As the warrior approaches, you notice the goblin girl from before hiding in a bush behind him. She shows you her empty quiver, gesturing to it anxiously to let you know she's got nothing to hit him with. ...But you do. Here's hoping SHE meets the stat requirements for it. You c...

Chapter 40 in Game Monster
At first you find your indirect guard duty rather boring, but it doesn't even take an hour before you see shapes moving near the rock trap. Three of them, distinctly humanoid and heroic. That's your signal. You break your connection to the watchman, and with the same nauseating...

Chapter 39 in Game Monster
You return to the camp and manage to convince the shaman to lend you some goblin workers to cut down the trees blocking the watchtower's view of the traps. You oversee their work as they chop away. Part of you wants to help, but you couldn't even if you tried since you don't meet...

Chapter 38 in Game Monster
"We are going to set up traps for the heroes," you say. You hear a few skeptical snorts from the goblins, including the shaman. "You think we haven't tried that? They don't work!" "Not without me, perhaps... Show me." "I have better things to do," the shaman mutters and calls...

Chapter 37 in Game Monster
"If you're so powerful, surely you can defeat me in a duel," she says with a smirk. Considering all your magic is about support, that's not at all a good way to test your abilities... Oh well, you can at least give it a try. You nod, agreeing to her challenge. The other goblins...

Chapter 36 in Game Monster
After some wandering, you arrive at a large clearing where a flimsy stockade has been built around most of the open area. There's a rickety wooden watchtower with no roof, really more of a tall platform, where you can see a goblin holding a bow sitting with his legs dangling over...

Yup, you're totally taking a liking to her. That might be problematic considering your monster-status. "...Hey," you ask as you follow behind her. "Yeah?" She glances back at you. "I didn't know heroes kill each other like back there. Is that like, a thing some do? Anti-heroes...

Chapter 35 in Game Monster
You've been a minion for long enough. You've been a leech for long enough. You've been a TRAITOR for long enough. Time to cease all of those and become a proper monster again. You'll assemble some minions of your own and start killing heroes, as it should be. It might be harder,...

Chapter 36 in Game Monster
You consider it for a moment. If you understand the instructions in your tome correctly, you should be able to re-summon the same specific imp if you give her a name and put it in your book. Right? And if you don't, next time you summon an imp familiar it could be completely rand...

Chapter 35 in Game Monster
You're a Demonologist. It only makes sense to select a demon rather than an elemental. And having a critter, while possibly serving as a useful utility, ultimately sounds lame. Besides, maybe you can conjure up some of those as necessary with your other summoning spell. In other...
