She gets past

Nyssa neared the campsite, then slowed, nervously realizing that the quiver wasn't making things better. She was still naked, but at least her bare skin camoflauged better against the sunburnt rocks. The quiver was stark black, meant for hiding at night, not in broad daylight.

Reluctantly she pulled it off over her head, sad to lose even that inadequate garment, and hugged it tightly to her chest, strap and all. She crouched lower, trying to keep it covered by her body. The base of the quiver pressed between her legs, making her flush, but there really was no better angle to hold it. It already dug into her chin, and she desperately needed to keep the dark black out of sight.

She crawled towards the first bit of shelter, waiting impatiently for the assassins to turn away. She peered out, hands almost shaking with impatience and anticipation.

She couldn't wait to finally be done with this. She squirmed a little on the floor, and suppressed a gasp as the quiver slipped between her legs again. She gripped it more tightly with her thighs, not sure what she was doing, just more eager to not be given away.

As soon as they seemed distracted, she wriggled her way to hide behind the next rock, quiver still clasped in front of it. Even angled slightly, it was between her breasts and legs, and the friction that resulted as she squirmed her way over the ground made it hard to keep quiet.

Just so long as she wasn't tall enough to be noticed, she'd live with it. No one ever needed to know about the Heir to the Demon wriggling around nude on the earth and getting intimate with her quiver.

Her cheeks were burning when she finally made it past, and she gratefully broke into a run, holding the quiver under one arm as she leapt down to the lower plateau in search of Sara. She had a few words to say.
