The sun has nearly disappeared over the horizon, and you're leaning back against the dark stone bricks on one of the outer wall's front gateway watch towers. From here, you can see far down the valley, even to the pathway Team **** made their charge forwards up the mountainside. You feel oddly at peace up here. The wind is calm, and it blows through your hair and clothes, though it's starting to get chilly without the light of day. Birds flutter by across the dark blue sky above, and when you turn around to glance at the castle grounds, construction continues at a steady pace. It would be relaxing if your party could last even a few moments without bickering or shouting.

Eva throws her arms into the air and jumps in cheer. Her skirt flutters up, letting you glance at a new pair of purple panties. "Hurray! I still can't believe all of this is ours. Take that, you stupid Demon King."

"Please be careful, Ms. Beela. You might fall," Amara states with concern. She reaches out and takes hold of the bunny by her sides to pull her back from the edge.

Then, Niki climbs up the stone railing and plants her hands proudly on her hips. "It wouldn't matter for me! I bet I could land without a scratch on me. Do you guys want to see if I can ride my shield down like a surfboard?"

I guess people surf in this world.

Eva and Amara perk up first, and then you and Niki follow as something appears overheard. You squint your eyes to see three silhouettes making their way towards the wall. It seems to be birds, but upon closer inspection, they're too large, and the shape isn't quite right. Then you see three girls flapping their wings, and their talon feet clutch the stone beneath them as they make their landing nearby.

Niki hops down. "What are you guys doing here?" she asks.

There's a trio of harpies before you, and the middle one is Chini. Her hair is long and pink, and the feathers of her winged arms are the same. Her white top is cut short and it barely contains her hefty chest, and she wears blue booty shorts above where her knees transition into a bird's sharp talons. You remember her being rather sweet compared to her sisters.

To her right is Chula. She appears more like a raven, with neck-length black hair and wings just as dark. Her top matches as well--it's small enough to resemble more of a bikini--and her shorts are black too. From what you remember, she always spoke the most, like their leader. She teased and taunted Niki as she tore off her breastplate and tried to make her orgasm, which is all part of the ritual done to create more harpies.

Lastly, Chila stands at their left. She dresses very similarly to the latter, though her feathers and hair are a deep shade of violet, she wears a tube top instead, and cuts have been made up both sides of her shorts to show off her hips. She's both shorter and flatter than the others as well, like the bottom of a sliding scale, and she keeps her hair tied back with a white ribbon. She didn't speak as much as the others back when you first met them. It wasn't until she needed your help saving her sisters that she opened up to you more.

"What do you mean?" asks Chula. "We heard about a safe place for all monster-types not normally accepted in cities, so we had to come check it out, and when we heard the name behind it--"

"We had to see if it was true!" Chini interrupts with a warm smile.

"Not to mention Stax suggested we do."

"You know Stax?" you ask.

"Yeah. She's a cool goblin that just came back from the Oraang Desert with a squad of other monsters. Apparently they've been growing as a sort of nomadic tribe. That's when we ran into them, and we thought... Hey, maybe we don't need to live alone in the hills anymore."

"You know, I'm still not super thrilled with what you did to me," Niki says and crosses her arms. "But... I do forgive you."

Chula leans in with a smirk. "Is that because you liked it~?" she teases. With one feathered arm, she tickles against the girl's dark, exposed midriff.

Niki's muscles contract and she shivers. Her face starts to blush. "Stop that!"

Coming up the stairs of the tower behind you is a set of tiny footfalls. You turn to see Koblix make his appearance next.

"It looks like you do all know each other!" Koblix says. "That saves time."

"Hey there. So where are the others?" Eva asks.

Koblix looks short of breath. It takes him a moment of rest, but he then inhales deeply and begins to speak. "You're adventurers, right? What if I said I had a quest for you to do? And it's a bit of an emergency... contrary to how relaxed the harpies look."

"It'll be fine," Chula claims. "This group saved us from a bunch of devils and then went on to defeat the Demon King that lived up here. I'm sure they can rescue a few people."

"What happened?" you ask. "Someone's in trouble?"

"That's right. Half of our group is missing, and we could really use some backup. The house isn't far from here. Will you help?" Koblix requests.

"A haunted house!" Chini says, and then she frowns. "We're not very useful indoors, so we weren't able to do much."

Niki walks over and grabs the pink-haired girl by the shoulder. "Don't worry! Point us to where we need to go, and we'll save your friends."

"Just explain what happened," Eva chimes in.

"All right. Thank you," Koblix says. "You see, we found this old looking house in the woods, so naturally we peeked around to investigate. The harpies stayed outside while the rest of us went in. That's when some really spooky stuff started happening. There was a chill in the air, and the walls and floors creaked. It felt like we were being watched. Then I saw it... a terrifying spectre!"

Eva wraps her arms around herself. "Don't tell such scary stories after dark."

"It's true! Stax went running and I couldn't find her. Mipa ran head-first to protect us, but she disappeared too. Sen-nu is gone too. Oh it's terrible! I ran away like a coward, but I didn't know what else to do but come get reinforcements."

Amara leans down. She places her gently hand on his cheek and smiles. "It is all right, Mr. Koblix. You did what you felt was right. And because of it, we are now able to come rescue them. You may have gone missing as well if you tried alone."

Koblix sniffles. "Y-You're so kind."

"Time to smack some ghosts!" Niki slams her fist into her palm.

"You can't punch a ghost!"
