Don't celebrate yet.

There's a burning hatred in his eyes. Sa'dis has lost nearly everything because of you and your allies. He slams his sword down into the stone, carving straight through. It sticks up straight. Then he clenches his fists and stretches his back. He cracks his neck, and swings his arms outward to fully unfurl his wings. "My only regret is not watching you more closely, Kyle. I don't know how you turned my own allies against me so easily, but my kingdom has crumbled beneath my feet... It's nothing that can't be rebuilt, however, after your head is mounted on my wall. You and your friends. Do you think I'm weak without my amulet? Everything I have, I achieved without it!"

"You're outnumbered," Niki says from behind. Her and the other girls stand beside one another with Dajy's **** body on the floor nearby. "That was the only thing that gave you an edge in this fight. So now get ready for a real ass kicking."

Sa'dis raise his hand points with his index, middle, and pinkie fingers. A black aura crackles up his arm, and suddenly, what looks like a dark bolt of lightning shoots out through the air and directly towards you. "The only edge?!"

But you raise up your hand as well. Thanks to the signet ring given to you by the queen, you're able to absorb the magic instantly.

William raises a brow. "Useful trinket."

"Now take it back!" you shout. The magic bursts from your ring and the bolt strikes at your foe now instead.

A cloud of dust kicks up as Sa'dis explodes with crackling energy. As it settles, you can see him gripping his sword's handle in order to keep his footing. "I've had enough of this..."

"That makes two of us!" Eva shouts.

His eyes move to her, but as he scans over the figures behind you, a grin stretches across his face. "Your friendships will be your undoing. I'll make sure to crush your spirit before I crush your body." He then reaches down to the blade of his sword, and slides his palm across the razor-sharp edge. Dark red blood trickles down his wrist as he raises his and up into the air. A twisted gaze falls upon you. Suddenly, you feel strange as the air begins to wobble. Another aura of dark energy warps around his entire form, and it grows in intensity by the moment.

William's eyes widen. "Get everyone out of here!" he shouts.

"What's happening?" you ask.

It's far too late. Sa'dis throws forward his hand and shouts, "Total Domination!" A wave of magic wafts out from his person and covers the entirety of the castle's throne room.

You shield your eyes. Slowly, the wave of power diminishes. You look up again, but you feel perfectly fine. William doesn't appear injured beside you either. Though when you look to Sa'dis, he still has that grin across his face. You watch as he grips the handle of his sword and yanks it back out from the stone and grips it tightly within both hands.

"I don't--" As you begin to speak, you turn to hear movement behind you.

Niki, Eva, Amara, and Snow look back to you with a strange expression. They appear almost robotic. Whatever sense of personality they are normally overflowing with is gone, and now they stand moving slowly towards you with an unsettling visage.

"You're going to need to make a difficult decision," William explains. "He's a powerful incubus. Their will is no longer their own. Are you able to harm your own party members?"

"What?!" That's ridiculous. His magic hit so hard. They didn't stand a chance. All the girls have been put under his spell, but I can't slash them up. There's no way I could do that.

"If you'd prefer... I can do it in your place."

"No way," you snap back immediately. "Neither of us are going to injure my friends."

"Then I'm afraid it's going to be two versus five. There's no chance we can win with those odds. Either we knock them out so we can fight him alone, or we retreat and leave them here."

They're getting closer. If I don't attack, they will. Those girls aren't weak either. I might not even be able to fight them all at once. I'd have to figure out their weaknesses, and.... Wait. I know all their weaknesses. That's it!

"Hold off Sa'dis," you command. "I'll subdue them and join you as soon as it's done. Then we'll defeat him and return them to normal."

"If that's your plan then I'll take part. Don't be too long. I have confidence in my abilities, but this is a dangerous man to be fighting alone."

You shift your eyes between them. "I'll be fast. Don't worry."
