Chapter 13 by FlatCap90210 FlatCap90210

Is Ellie ready?

She is. No time like the present.

After they had cleaned up the remains of their breakfast, they got ready to leave. During all that, Penny wrestled with conflicting emotions; thankfulness for both the Lord and Ellie, the former for blessing her and giving her this opportunity, the latter for loving and understanding her despite Penny's duties as God's servant clearly upsetting her. Guilt, of course, for upsetting Ellie in the first place. And, most worryingly, a hint of doubt. What if she was wrong about what God wanted her to do? She was only human after all, and could have misread the signs. What if His plan for Penny was different than what she thought? Would the Almighty really have her do things that made Ellie sad? But still, trusting in His plan was all the angelic woman could do...

"Hey." Penny suddenly found herself embraced from behind, Ellie's arms wrapping around her waist, the succubus' wings around her upper body. "Y'know, I see you worrying... Don't, at least not too much. God clearly has a plan for you. And while I am not completely happy with sharing you, I'll be there with you every step of the way, alright? It's just... all of this is happening so fast..."

"I... thank thee," Penny replied, thankfulness and love for Ellie overflowing inside her. "And thou art sure--erk?"

"I aaam~." Ellie had clearly recovered - at least enough for her playfulness to return. She had moved her hands up from Penny's waist and was now groping Penny's alabaster breasts with gusto. "Now let's get out there and show this town your... gospel, shall we?"

They had to make one stop before they set out, though - their nightly and not so nightly activities had made a proper mess of the bed. Intending to go straight to the reception to apologize for it, pay for any damages and ask for new sheets and covers, angel and demon froze right at the entrance to the lobby. The reason for that was standing right behind the counter, practiced service smile on her face and talking into a phone she was holding - in her incredibly leaf-like hand. And her face was green. Also, she was more than seven feet tall, incredibly voluptuous and almost completely naked except for a bikini-like garment fashioned from vines.

"This art..."

"...Something."

Even though both Penny and Ellie had changed considerably in the short time they had spent in this town, the towering plant woman was a lot to take in. Still, she was behaving perfectly normal and curteous, as expected from a receptionist, so angel and demon didn't take long to muster the courage to walk up to the counter, their eyes widening a little as they saw that the receptionist was growing from an actual terracotta pot standing on a little cart. Greeting them with a gentle smile, hands folded in front of her legs, the plant lady bowed her head a little.

"Hello, dear guests. My name is Audrey, I'm the day receptionist and at your service. How can I help you?"

"Uhm, greetings..." Penny began, staring up at the peculiar woman before her, unsure how to react to her. Was she blessed by the Heavens, tainted by Hell, or something else entirely? "The room of my love and I... number 42... it doth require some cleaning, after this night. Wouldst thou be so kind as to add the cost of that to what we owe?"

"Of course, dear guests. Don't worry, ever since a few weeks ago this kind of thing has happened quite regularly." Audrey smiled a little wider and bowed again. "Your room will be taken care of before the evening. Is there anything else I can help you with?"

"I thank thee, but no. Thou hast been most helpful."

"Yep, thanks. And, uh, sorry about the claw marks..." Ellie blushed and fiddled with said claws a little.

"Claw...? No worries! Have a nice day - the city is doing its best to guarantee a normal day-to-day life despite the lockdown, so feel free to take a few brochures we keep by the entrance if you're looking for activities."

"We too wish thee a pleasant day."

With a little wave, Penny took Ellie's hand, the succubus embracing the angel with her left wing, and they left the hotel. Once they were out of sight and earshot of Audrey, the succubus turned to her friend with wide eyes full of wonder.

"What was she? I've never seen anything like her! Sure, I also haven't seen anything like me, but..."

"I am... unsure." Squeezing Ellie's hand, Penny shot her lover a quick smile. "Dost thou think she was touched by the Dark One?"

"She seemed so friendly, though..." Penny could hear the succubus' tail swish through the air - but whether it was from excitement or worry, she could not tell. "But wouldn't a demon do just that, seem friendly to ensare you?"

"Thou dost speak true, my love..." The way Ellie blushed and cast her eyes down almost shyly clashed with her seductive, demonic appearance, and Penny couldn't help but smile. "We shall remain vigilant, but curteous in our dealings with her."

Penny used her years of experience from the mission work she and Ellie had done to decide what to do next - that is, find a nice neighborhood and try one house after the other. But different to all the years before, they were invited into the first house they tried, after being greeted by a rather peculiar couple: She had two rows of breasts down her front for a total of six melon-sized orbs - and so did he. He had a massive, thick shaft sticking right up between his remarkably perky breasts, the glans sticking out of his cleavage, right in the open thanks to the plunging neckline of his stretched out v-neck - and so did she. Only she was wearing a nice silk blouse with a tie-dye pattern.

"Hi! I'm Melanie!" The woman had said to the dumbfounded would-be-missionaries, shaking their hands as her husband had put a newspaper away before greeting Penny and Ellie themselves. "That's my husband Paul."

Luckily, Penny had caught herself rather quickly, introduced herself and Ellie, noted with interest how little surprise Melanie and Paul had shown at Ellie's appearance, and now they were sitting in the living room on a nice leather sectional - and the angelic woman realized that she had neither bible nor pamphlets with her.

Is that going to be a problem?
