Run over to Lynx.

Immediately, you bolt ahead. You race between the cheering crowd with dexterous footing all while keeping an eye on the still-stunned spymaster below. Thankfully, it seems like she can barely stand let alone run. However, she puts back on her shirt and starts to limp her way towards the entryway where some healers are waiting for her arrival. She seems to be turning them down, however. All she wants to do is get out of here, and escape the growing crowd.

You make it to the entrance just before her. Still flustered, she turns the corner to see you standing there with your sword in-hand, which emits a bright glow. You're not surprised considering what just happened to her.

"You're... fast," she mutters under her breath.

"We need to have a talk," you reply.

She clenches her teeth and nods. You follow her farther along the wall, and thankfully, everyone is incredibly focused on what's happening inside the arena, not outside. The noise drowns out any conversation you have as well. You look to the disgruntled young woman and wonder what you should ask first. You have many questions.

"Are you really Lynx, the spymaster that works for Demon King Sa'dis then?" you bluntly ask.

"I am... How did you even know about me in the first place? Back in the arena, it's like you already knew who you were working for."

"After what you've been doing to us, I'm asking the questions here."

"B-But, I want to know something. Please tell me. You mentioned the tale of Dragon Ball. That means you somehow also know! The story of Gaku."

"... You mean Goku?"

She grabs the front of your tunic with excitement in her eyes. "You're so confident in its proper pronunciation! How is this true? I thought only we had copies of this tale, and we've been trying for ages to translate them."

No kidding. I found that one book from Earth in the cyclops cave, but I didn't expect to hear about more. That explains a lot.

"I'll tell you more if you answer my questions."

Surprisingly, she pulls back and stands up straight with a nod. Meanwhile, you hear the announcer's voice booming in the distance, completely concealed by the noise of the applauding audience.

"So, tell me. Why was this even a job?"

"Sa'dis was worried about what you've been doing. Though we have little information on what you've done outside of city borders, you didn't seem all that dangerous to me, but you never know. It was much more difficult or impossible to find the family of anyone else in your party. You especially. None of our research has found where you even came from."

You pull out the book and slap it against your other hand. "So you, Umi, and Zakira. That's everyone here."

"Yes. That's right."

"Then why did you come? Surely the spymaster doesn't join their spies on something like this."

"I..." She purses her lips. "I just think tournaments are super cool! There's nothing more thrilling than a tournament arc!"

Oh. I mean, considering what she's been reading, I guess that makes sense.

"Are you sure you're the spymaster?" you ask.

"Look, buddy. Badmouth me all you want, but I'm good at my job! Now tell me something. I've told you plenty."

"All right. What do you want to know?"

She stares at you for a long moment, like a hundred questions are racing by behind those crimson eyes. Suddenly, she blurts out her question--loud and unhinged. It's like she can't keep her excitement in anymore. "I-In the fight with... Vegeta?"

You nod.

"How does Goku win?! I'm missing so many books in the series!"

"Uh. He does a technique that makes him faster and stronger The Kaio-ken. And he--"

She holds her head. "Oh it's no good. I need to experience it as a story. Please. Will you tell me the tale of Goku sometime? I'll give you something in return."

"If you promise to leave Niki's family alone, then sure."

"Fine! You win. That was so cool how you redirected my attack! How did you do that?"

"I can't tell you all my secrets. But if you--"

She raises a hand. With a deep breath, she calms herself down. "Actually... I can't. I can't promise that I'll leave them alone."

"Because of this?" you ask as you gesture to the book.

"Y-Yes. Please give that to me."

"Not a chance. If you come after us again, I'll use the full **** of this book on you. Tell me how this is even possible. If someone is controlling you, we might be able to put a stop to it."

"Wait... You'll free me?"

"It seems like we're on track to take down the Demon King eventually."

She runs a hand through her hair and blushes. "I'll keep my distance from her for now. I don't even want to work for the Demon King, but if I talk out of line, she punishes me."

"Who is she?"

"I shouldn't say."

You pull open the book. "Here's one I haven't tried yet. It seems to be connected to Explosive Orgasm."

She flinches. "No! You wouldn't--"

"Elephant..."

"Stop, stop, stop! I can't take anymore! All right. I'll tell you her name. She works right along side Sa'dis as his magic consultant. Her name is Velina Daliru. She keeps an incredibly low profile, but she's a talented elven mage that studies magic that affects the mind. Dealing with her might be impossible for you. But she likes these books as much as I do, and we've been trying to translate them from an ancient language."

"You have to hear her say the words, right?" you ask.

"Yes. If I hear the right combination of words together, I can't help but obey."

"If you're a spymaster, then surely you'd never be found. And if you keep away, you'll never hear the words."

"Run away...? I don't know."

You sheathe your blade and cross your arms. "What if I told you that I might be able to translate what's happening in those books?" you say with a smile.

"Liar!"

"Write down something you remember." I'm betting on a lot here. Those books have been translated into every language on Earth.

She picks a rock up off the ground and begins to scribe something against the wall one letter at a time. Immediately, you notice the first is from the English alphabet, and you breathe a sigh of relief. This is the best case scenario. K. I. N. G. She continues for a moment longer.

"Go ahead," she says. "But I doubt you could--"

"That's the letter K," you explain as you point to the first. After reading out every letter, you speak the words, "King of the Pirates. This isn't from the same tale. You tried to trick me. This is from One Piece."

Her body shakes. "Impossible... Even Lady Daliru couldn't... How?!"

You grin. "If you get caught, you'll never be able to find out. But if we meet up in the future, and Niki doesn't kill you when she sees you, I'll be able to tell you much more than this."

The rock in her hand falls to the ground. Her mouth is ajar. "Who are you?"

You stuff the book into your pocket. "I guess that's another question you'll have to fight for. Or you can go back to the Demon King and be controlled again."

She puffs out her cheeks. "You're infuriating!"

"Also, that Kamehameha was perfect," you say right as you start stepping back towards the arena entrance. "I don't really know what else to ask right now, and I'm not going to **** information out of you. So for now, just keep that promise that you'll leave Niki's family alone. I need to make sure she's all right."

As you leave, she watches in awe. There really wasn't anything else to be done. You couldn't just kill her on the spot. One, because that'd be awful. Two, because the other spies are still around, and they'd definitely retaliate. You need to catch Niki anyway. She was left in a precarious position last you saw her, and she probably needs some help.
