Spelunk.

The cave system feels like it's going on forever. Hours pass, at least you think they do. Without the ability to see the sky, it's hard to tell how much time is truly passing. After awhile, you start to feel sleepy. Your internal clock is telling you that evening might be coming sooner than you'd hope. With only a couple brief periods of rest, the three of you push onwards, and eventually you see a light at the end of the tunnel. It's an orange-tinted glow pouring in from above. Your group moves onwards until you see the source of the light with your own eyes.

It's a massive ravine.

You're standing far down, and there are various worn-out cart tracks, piles of stone, and rusted tools all around you. There were definitely miners here long ago. From the looks of it, there are a series of ladders and hills that will bring you eventually to the top of this ravine. It'll be exhausting, but you finally made it. You escaped the cave.

"Hell yeah!" Niki shouts. Her voice echoes. With an intensity burning in her gaze, she flexes one of her arms and thrusts a fist into the air. "When we find whoever dropped us down here, I'll tear them in two."

Jelly mimics her by lifting her own fist. "Kill them?"

"Please stop teaching her about ****," you say. "No killing, Jelly."

First, it's the slime girl that makes her way up the ladder. It's Niki next. Lastly, you follow behind. You thank Goa and whatever other deities exist in this world for the view of Niki's behind tightly wrapped by a thin layer of fabric right in front of your face as you climb.

There's only one ladder remaining. However, it won't be long before the sun goes down.

"How far did we even end up?" you ask.

"I don't know. I've never even been to this mine," Niki replies.

"Shit. How's the desert at night?"

"It gets pretty cold. Not freezing, but definitely not comfortable. The wind tends to pick up more, so sand storms. A lot of the monsters come out at night too, probably to avoid the heat. Things much worse than giant scorpions."

"Stop, stop. That's not what I wanted to hear. Damn. As much as this sucks, we're going to need to get some sleep."

"But the tournament!"

"There's no use fighting with our bodies barely able to move, and we still need to walk back. If we sleep now, we can head out while it's still dark, and hopefully the sun will come up as we go. Then we can arrive back in town before the Golden Sword actually begins. Presumably, we only need to get there before our fights start, right?"

"I assume so. You're right." She takes a deep breath. "Then let's get some sleep!"

Jelly tilts her head.

"You don't sleep?" you ask. "It's when you lay down and basically shut your mind off for several hours at night so you can be refreshed the next day."

"I see... I sleep, I think."

"You think?"

"Not for that many hours."

"I see. You probably just kinda rest on and off. I imagine you have no concept of night and day."

She shakes her head.

"Well, this is going to be a crappy sleep for us, but let's do our best--" You look to see Niki already sleeping. Her vest is nearly slipping off her body. Quickly, you look away and to Jelly and take a deep breath. "Anyway, goodnight. We have a lot of walking to do tomorrow."

You lay down and try your best to drift off to sleep. The air is gold and the ground is dirt, but that's how it be.

You flicker in and out of consciousness. Though one of the times, you squint open your eyes to only the light from the moon and stars to fill the ravine. It's quiet. You can hear animals up above you, but so far, it's safe down here. Niki is sleeping behind you, and you'd rather not turn to peek to see how her vest has inevitably fallen off. As hot as it is, you actually need to get some sleep. Being horny isn't going to help that.

You move your hands, but feel something squishy. You're also warmer than when you went to sleep. Half-awake, you open your eyes more, and then you see a figure in your arms. In the darkness, you can barely make it out, though it's clearly Jelly. She has snuggled up against your chest at some point during the night.

She looks so peaceful. Though she doesn't breath, you hear her make a quiet noise as your hand squeezes against her side. In most ways, she feels like a real human girl in your arms. It's hard to tell she's even made of slime in the dark. You bring your hand down her hair, which is definitely the strangest part. It's still strands, though they're trick, and made from the same stuff as the rest of her body. It is lighter, but it isn't what you expect. As you pet her, she makes a happy sighing noise.

You smile. But then she starts to fidget around, and you wonder if you woke her up. She starts moving up your body, and suddenly, your face is squished against her large, gelatinous breasts. You're given the gift of the ultimate pair of pillows to sleep against. Though, you need to calm your body down too, or they won't do any good in helping you sleep.

Is she doing this on purpose, or is she asleep? I can't tell. Either way, they're so soft. I could just...

Your body enters a state of panic as you lose access to oxygen. Your face sinks inside of her chest, and all you can breath is slime! You try to escape, though not only is the slime she's made from thick, but her arms are squeezing you tight.

You try to yell, but it's futile. Finally, you pull yourself out of her chest and take a gasping breath for air.

Jelly is still sleeping. So is Niki. You sigh, and lay down onto your back between them. Maybe I'll have a dream tonight about meeting a normal girl. Now that would be a wild fantasy.
