Her new "wife" overreacts

Alex suddenly grabbed Mackenzie's wrist "Wait!" The red head let out a little cry of pain and dropped the towel.

"We can't afford our fraud to be unmasked. We have to agree on our story, so nobody would doubt we're a married couple."

"What? Why? It was a glitch from their computer, you said it yourself!"

"Yes, and I also said we paid half the price because of that. If they discover we aren't... well, wife and wife, they might suspect we caused the glitch on purpose. And if they sue us, they have enough money to buy all the good lawyers."

Alex was starting to contaminate Mackenzie with her panic attack.

"Ho god!" cried the red head. "What will we do?"

"Hush!" Alex answered, gagging her with a hand on her mouth. "Listen to me. We're just a married couple on our honeymoon. It now is legal, after all..."

"But... I'm straight! I can't..."

"It doesn't matter, shut up, now. We met on a beach in Florida three years ago, in august. We both like the sea, we both like journeys, and we both love each other. I proposed you at Santa Monica, we got married at Malibu, and we now are on our honeymoon, with a cruise then a flight to Hawaii."

"Well, Hawaii might be nice."

"We won't travel to Hawaii, you idiot. It's just what we'll tell if somebody interrogate one of us."

The red head blushed. She was getting carried away a bit too much.

"Sure, sorry. What do you do for a living?"

"I'm a surgeon. What about you?"

"I'm a reporter."

"Really? Well, whatever. Now, remember: From now on and until we land, we're a faithful lesbian couple. No cheating, no dating, no flirt with anybody else than me. Understood?"

"But... I went on this vacation to relax and meet boys, I..."

"Forget about it. I'm your wife, if you cheat on me I rip your heart out. And his."

Mackenzie's beautiful eyes widened. Now it was her so-called spouse who let herself be carried away. But she didn't object. First, Alex was frightening her more and more, and she didn't want to irritate her. She feared her reaction. Second, even though she was very very straight (indeed), she may be just a little bit turned on by the surgeon's authoritarian speech and attitude.
