And a few minutes later, Mackenzie looked down forlornly at the reply she had received:

sorry M, no time today! ill swing by with something after dinner tho

Mackenzie sighed. Despite their closeness, Mackenzie was still too embarrassed to tell Marianne that she had literally no clothing at the moment. She probably figured Mackenzie had at least SOMETHING to wear. Marianne had bailed her out with emergency clothing once or twice in the past, but she had never needed to do so while Mackenzie was in her own room!

Feeling more hopeless now, Mackenzie texted back:

thats alright. thanks anyway

She sighed and readjusted her arms in front of her bare breasts again. Despite the privacy of the room, Mackenzie still found herself covering herself with her hands and arms. She knew it was foolish but she couldn't stop herself.

Mackenzie took a calming breath and scrolled up to Amanda's name to text her next:

hey amanda! i have a big favor to ask you

can i borrow an outfit or two? i REALLY need one!
