"So, Darrick, I've been meaning to talk to you about something."

"Sure, Cole. What can I do for you?"

"I've been meaning to ask. You were going to be marrying Amanda soon, right?"

"That's right. Its happening a few months from now. If its about the leave notice, I've already handed it over to Susan so you don't have to worry about a thing."

"Congratulations, but that's not what I wanted to talk to you about. A little bird told me she was quite talented, and I was wondering if you could bring her in this coming Friday."

"Amanda? Sure. She's a fresh grad in Marketing and all, but she isn't interested in working in finance."

"There's job openings for someone like her. Trust me. HR has been looking for someone like her for a while. I know I have."

"Uh.... Alright. I'll talk to her and see what she thinks."

"Tell her the pays good, and that she'll be around you a lot more if she came to work for me. That always works for girls like her, right?"

"When I think about it, she did want to spend more time with me. Alright. No problem. I'll ask her tonight."

The conversation with Darrick Kellar was short and sweet. Even though it was a mildly professional conversation, Cole had to show the greatest restraint while speaking to his longest rival. Darrick had always been ahead in the performance reports. He had always gotten in the way for the promotions he needed, and even if his newfound capabilities made the rivalry seem more petty than it was worth, he had the biggest one sided grudge against the disgustingly handsome man ever since he entered his department a few years ago. Cole had always wanted to get back at the charismatic little asshole for holding him back and stealing all the credit all these years, the rage seething through his eyes as he stared daggers at his back while he casually exited his office.

Breathing a short sigh to himself as soon as he was alone, he could not suppress an evil grin as he went back to the papers he procured through underhand means. He had learning about Amanda Turner for a few days now and he had been studying her up ever since he caught wind of some stray office gossip. He jumped at the opportunity to call Darrick in, and after transffering the 'Trust me' hex onto him, the fate of his future wife was sealed as she would not be able to resist coming to see the one who uttered those words the moment the little cunt speaks to her about it. Sliding aside the papers, he picked up the special pen that laid hidden underneath his desk to continue writing up his latest special contract.
