Seeing a chance to dry off, the girls shuffled across the library to the fireplace, leaving parallel trails of red footprints as they went. The fire was cozy enough; compared to the chill of the red pool, it was heaven. Mackenzie and Lana both stood next to it, basking in the heat, turning slowly every so often to let themselves dry completely. The two girls, though they were still stained red, were at the very no longer shivering and dripping 'blood' everywhere they went.
