Face the others.

Peony stands with you as you wait outside the door. She tries to get you to tell her what's wrong, but you insist that she wait. Finally, you drum your knuckles on the front door and wait before Yin pulls it open.

"Master?" She looks at you with concern.

"Everyone come here!" you shout. "I have something to say."

As the household collects at the front steps, you cast your eyes over them. You then look up to the sky. This isn't the last day I see Avana. There's no way that's true. I'll come back soon. Though will any of my other allies buy into this lie? What about those that came with me? They must know I'm innocent.

"The terms of my arrest are simple. They've exiled me," you explain.

"That's not fair!" snaps Niki.

"I know. But if I stay, they'll probably have my head, and who knows what they'd do with you guys for staying with me? I'm not allowed in Tivera anymore, but I'm not giving up. Someone did this to me. This can't just be a misunderstanding."

Niki and Amara look to each other. The elf lays her hands upon her friend, and she casts a Bless. Empowered, Niki marches straight over to Peony's tree. She spits on her hands, rubs them together, and then wraps her arms around the trunk. She heaves with all of her might, and tears it straight out from the soil just like Zazra did before. Alice follows the rear, and helps hold up the back. Snow joins in too.

"... What's going on?" you ask nervously.

"What do you mean?" Eva asks. "We're getting ready to leave with you."

"I'll help gather as much stuff as we can bring!" Yin calls out and poofs into a cloud of smoke.

"Oh yeah. I should get my stuff. W-Wait, Yin! Don't go through my drawers!" she yells as she runs off inside.

The others hustle inside too. Though as they collect their things, Amara approaches you, and looks to you with a smile and tilt of her head. She can read your face, and your expression is that of confusion--exhaustion, concern.

"This is all happening so fast," you mumble.

"Relax." Amara places her hand on your chest. "You must get ready as well."

"But how can everyone be so good with this?"

"Do you truly believe we would not come with you? And it is a terrible thing, yes, but home is where we are together. I believe everybody here believes that too. Like you said, we are not giving up. We will solve this mystery, but until then, we will depart together."

Peony skips over with a smile. "Where are we going, m'lord? I'm excited to have a new garden to tend~!"

You think for a moment. "I know exactly where we're going," you state with confidence. "And thank you, Amara. You're all so supportive. I don't know what I'd do without you..."

The guards follow every move you make, but your group purchases a wagon and two draft horses with the rest of your adventuring money. Now you can more easily carry tree, and all the other supplies you're able to bring. The rest of the manor will have to stay. You'll miss it. But for now, your group departs through the city limits of Avana and begins another adventure east.
