As Eva fires a blast, Kashura turns and absorbs it with a magical shield. However, it grants you the distraction you've needed. You quickly slice your magic blade straight through her ropes and step away.

"Leave her to me," Eva says. You haven't seen her so serious before.

"You don't have to do this alone," you reply. "We fight together."

Eva looks to you with a flustered face and a warm smile. "T-Together?"

"Focus on the fight!"

Behind you, the fight continues. Niki is fortunately able to block any strike the vampire makes, though she's too slow to land a blow. Amara is ready to cast, though she's also aware that she needs to make it count. Alice, however, is the wild card. Nobody expected her to do what she's done, except perhaps you. As she fires another blast, it nearly strikes the leaping vampire. Her precision is incredible, though she's starting to slow down. You can't imagine she has infinite energy.

Finally, one lands. Alice's blast nearly blows his arm right off. He stumbles into the wall, and Niki slams her shield into his chest.

"Hold him still!" Amara requests.

Though, he slams his head directly into Niki's. It doesn't knock her out, though it surprises her enough for him to slip free. He hurries away as his arm comes back together once again.

"Damn. Not long enough," Niki says.

Kashura grips her wand and flashes a gaze between the two of you. "I'll tell every one of you on at once if I must." Quickly, she pivots on her foot and whips the tip of her wand in the direction of Eva. A sudden pink laser beam shoots forwards as she yells, "Cum Beam!"

It's a direct hit. As the magic strikes poor Eva, she crumbles to her knees. The power wells up inside her, and it bursts. The unexpected cast strikes the sorceress in the shoulder. It sends her fumbling back into the wall where she catches herself with her hand. Furious, she turns to see Eva on her knees but with her wand stretched forwards. She's exhausted and panting, but she's still a mage. The spell was a direct hit.

"How did you manage to cast a spell in such a state?" Kashura mutters. "That's impossible. Aren't you humiliated?"

Eva looks up with a grin. "I am~."
