Enter the office.

You step into the room, and all around you is rich mahogany furniture and towering shelves of books. The rainbow of tomes surrounds you all across the walls, except for two tall windows behind Lady Sulta's desk. She makes her way through, around, and then to the seat behind it as the chair squeaks under her weight. She gestures towards a chair on the opposite side, and you make your way over to join her.

When you sit, you stare upwards at an illustrious golden globe bathing the room in a magical bright glow. Various bookshelves also hold little knickknacks, and Lady Sulta's desk is covered in paperwork.

"So, my dear Kyle Warren," she speaks up. "What is it that you and your friend are doing here?"

She already knows about the Demon King stuff. But can I trust her still? I don't think I really have much choice. If I try to hide anything, she'll probably find out. Considering what happened back in the desert, it might be pretty obvious anyway.

"We're looking into various things involving Sa'dis."

"I see." She leans forward on her desk and rests her head upon her hands. The undone buttons provide a window straight down her shirt as her cleavage jiggles. "I'm not certain you'll find anything here, though we do have knowledge of many things here at the academy. Books as far as the eye can see. That being said, we're not meant to have just anyone exploring our grounds."

I don't know how many people will believe me, especially those with their head stuck up their ass, but I do have something if they do. My ring. It isn't just magical after all. This was given to me directly by Catherine... the one that wasn't a vampire.

You present your hand. The beautiful ring around your finger sparkles under the light from above. "What if you allow a knight?"

She leans even further and takes your hand in one of her own. "Amazing," she whispers as she slides her thumb up to the tip of your finger. "Why didn't you mention this before?"

"I'm still getting used to it," you admit. "And I didn't think it would be proof enough for a lot of people."

"This is a genuine ring... but no. It's something more. I haven't a clue what you did for Her Majesty, but you've been bestowed much more than a signet ring denoting your knighthood. You're a fascinating man, Kyle Warren." She lifts up a pen and begins to write on a small slip of paper.

"Is Eva allowed too?"

"I admit I'm a bit soft to Beela given who her father is. She has no permission to be here either. Your friend never finished her schooling. She dropped out. However, I've allowed her to remain in the library thusfar. Here." She slides the paper across the desk.

You pick it up and skim it over. It seems to be a permission letter for both you and Eva to explore the grounds at your leisure, signed with her name.

"Thank you so much," you say.

"Of course. As I said, you'll find her in the library most likely. I have much to do now, so I'll have to cut our meeting short. As tiring as it may be, I wouldn't wish the Grand Master to return to a disaster of a school."

"Aren't you...?"

"Acting Grand Master, yes. Now as I said, I have much to do. Good luck on your quest. Ah, and after finding Beela, please seek out Ms. Labing." Immediately, she lowers her gaze down to her papers and begins to write.

You stand up. "All right. Thank you very much."

I wonder where the actual Grand Master is then. I better let her do her work. She's already done a lot for me. Though, I wouldn't mind sticking around just to watch. I guess I should find Eva before she gets into a lot of trouble like usual. Plus, if there's anything we can use to beat Sa'dis, I imagine it would be found in the library of the largest school in the capital city of an empire.
