Check the parlour.

After stepping along the creaking floorboards leading through the hall and into the parlour, you peer around at the broken seats and shelves filled with beautiful ivory sculptures as well as other decorations. Maybe of them haven't dilapidated all that much. You scan your eyes down various golden animals and jewels that would be easy to grab, though the last thing you need right now is the ghost suddenly screaming out from the wall yet again. Your heart can't take it. You leave them for the time being and continue forwards.

"Anyone in here?" Niki asks as she steps through the room.

"I hear something," Amara whispers. She points at a door on the other side. "Somebody is in there."

"Is it the ghost?" Eva asks.

Koblix shines his light on the door in question, and it looks like it's up to you to investigate.

You walk past Niki and to the door, ready your sword, and take a careful hold of the knob. You turn, and slowly open it up. Though your weapon is no longer glowing even a little bit, it's still a mighty, magical blade. It may be able to pierce through even incorporeal spirits. The moment you swing the door open, you leap backwards and take a readied stance. If it is the ghost inside, you're ready to slice it in twain.

It's a closet, and inside are two figures tied up on the floor.

The first is a young woman with dark skin. She has black hair with flat-cut bangs, and two bunches of her hair tied by golden bangs hang down the sides of her face. The rest of her hair flows far down her back, which also end suddenly with a very flat, angular cut. Protruding up from the top of her head is a pair of long wolf-like ears, and below them is a decorated golden circlet inset with blue and red gemstones. Her eyes are bright pink. Around her neck is a choker also made of solid gold, and she has similar jewellery all over her body--armbands, a chain around her left thigh, and decorative trimming around all of her clothes. Clearly, the person who captured her didn't do it for theft, because her outfit alone must be worth a lot.

Her top consists of only a black collar with two straps leading down the center and spreading out to cover her breasts before reaching around her back. It reveals quite a lot of cleavage around the underside of her moderately sized bust, as well as between them. The radiant trim contrasts gorgeously with the deep blacks, and it works perfectly against her exotic skin. Around her waist is a skirt to match, though it consists of a single piece of fabric tied at her hip, which only extends to her thigh, and it only covers one side of her leg as well as her rear. The article of clothing is more of an accessory, as it does nothing to cover up her black and gold panties, which may be her actual bottoms, though they do look more like a swimsuit than anything else.

Strange of all, to match the ears above, she has both a big fluffy tail, as well as fur from her elbows to her fingertips, and from her knees to her toes. The lower half of her legs and arms are entirely canine, down to her long claw-like nails, and the arch of her feet.

There's another girl next to her, but she looks absolutely identical in every way, down to her clothes and accessories. In fact, they both turn up to you in unison. It's a little creepy. Though, they're both absolutely beautiful. Their ears twitch, and their tails wag. As cute as that is, they're also gorgeous women clad in minimal clothing and decorated with jewellery fit for a princess. It's not at all what you expected to see after opening the door.

They're both bound as well, however. They have gags in their mouths, and their wrist and ankles are bound together. They look groggy as well, like they recently woke up.

"Sen-nu!" Koblix hurries over. His mouth opens impressively wide, and he clenches his teeth down against the glowing orb so that he can draw a dagger from his belt and begin cutting their bindings.

"These are the friends I haven't met yet, huh?" you ask.

Koblix tries to respond, but all you hear is gibberish with his mouth stuck open.

The first wolf-like girl stands up and exits the closet, and then the second. Koblix spits out the orb and licks his lips. "Yuck. Anyway, I'm glad I found you. I said I'd come back with people who could help, didn't I?"

One of the twins speaks up. Her voice is rather monotone. "Yes. When you ran away screaming."

"I know, I know. Don't rub it in."

You reach out to shake their paws. "I'm Kyle Warren. Good to meet you. I think your leader Stax decided to come live at our castle, so I suppose we'll be seeing more of each other. Best to make introductions. Are you Sen-nu?"

They stare at your hand for a long moment before one reaches out to take it. The fur is soft. "I am, yes."

You release her grip, and look to the other in the same way. "And who are you then?"

"Sen-nu," she replies, and shakes your hand.

"... Oh. You're twins with the same name?" you ask.

"No," the first says.

Niki gasps. "No way!" She grabs you by the shoulders and yanks you back against her. "Do you know what this is?"

You nearly tumble over. "I don't, but you don't need to grab me so hard."

"It's an anubian!"

"What, like Anubis?"

"I don't know what that is, but anubians are well-known back in my homeland. They're actually rather feared."

"I think I've read about those," Eva says. "Anubians are technically demons, and usually only found in Oraang Desert. What makes them interesting is that a single anubian has two bodies, but one soul. This isn't two different girls. It's one girl. She just happens to have a second body."

One turns to you deadpanned. "I suppose that's accurate enough. You have two arms, but I don't see you finding that to be strange."

"I'm not so sure that's the same thing," you mutter.

"Sen-nu. Do you know where Stax and Mipa are?" asks Koblix.

They shake their heads in unison.

Wow. They have such gorgeous bodies, and they're not afraid to show them off. But I guess I shouldn't say they. Is this really only one girl? That's so strange. Those outfits are so hot, and man that jewellery fits so well. They really do look like royalty. It's like Niki if she was a dog-girl... and had two bodies.

"Why are you staring?" asks Sen-nu.

"Wait. You're doing what?" Eva leans in.

"Don't say things like that!" you reply. "You'll make people get the wrong idea."

Niki laughs. "Wrong idea? But you were staring."

"Come on," Koblix says. "We need to find the other two. Who knows what the ghost is doing with them here?"
