Chapter 6 by SergeantPepper SergeantPepper

What happens to keep Nora naked?

Chaos and questions

"Oh, you're still not done? Score!" Ralph said as he walked back into the lab. Nora clutched her arms tighter.

"I am!" she said. "Turn around!"

Suddenly the room was becoming less and less quiet. Barry returned, quickly averting his eyes as soon as he realized what he was looking at, sharing a look with Iris. Frost meanwhile, still white-haired, let her gaze linger speculatively on the embarrassed speedster.

"No sign of any break-in," Barry said. "And still no speed."

"I'm fine," Ralph said.

As if to demonstrate, he obediently turned around as Nora had asked, and still twisted his head 180 degrees to get a good long look at her bare body. Nora looked pleadingly at Cisco.

"Really? Nothing?" Cisco said. "I'd have guessed some kind of dampening effect. What's going on in Nora's cells, it's like the speed **** connection just up and left her, but there's no sign of any trauma which there would be if something happened to the speed **** itself. Sure you didn't miss anything?"

"Very sure," Caitlin said.

"Huh. Weird," Cisco said.

"Hello!" Nora said. "Still naked here! Is it over?"

Iris cleared her throat pointedly. Cisco fidgeted.

"Er... I... guess..." he said slowly. "Can't... think of... any reason..."

"Stop delaying!" Nora squeaked.

She looked around the lab, spotting her clothes where she'd left them, laying over a desk a few feet away. Then she looked around at all the people near her.

"Well?! Turn around!" she said, frantic.

Barry and Iris were the first to obey. Cisco was reluctantly next, and Ralph eventually stopped contorting himself when Nora glared at him long enough. That just left Frost; Nora looked pointedly at her. Frost shrugged.

"What? All girls here. Nothing I haven't seen before," Frost said.

"Not the point!" Nora said.

Frost sighed, and turned around, and Nora was just about poised to hurry out from the chair and over to her clothes when all hell broke loose.

There was a flash of green light behind Nora, and with it a sudden jolt of what almost felt like turbulence. Nora was just getting out of her chair when she tripped from the shock. As she tried to push herself up, she couldn't help but look back, suddenly realizing that the intrusion had made the rest of the room stop keeping their backs to her.

Nora curled up in a ball, face burning, and looked back over her shoulder in disbelief.

Mere seconds had passed. A square had been drawn in the air, empty space in the middle of the lab marked with four lines of light, and within those four lines it was as if the lab had simply been replaced by another metal room.

"Move, move, move, move!"

A blonde hurried through the portal, urgently gesturing. Nora stared in disbelief, shock for a few seconds making her forget her predicament.

"Sara?" Barry said. "What-"

"No time! History trouble, everyone through unless you want time to set around you," Sara said.

There was barely a pause. Whoever she was, Barry seemed to trust her absolutely, started to move already. Nora slowly turned over, beginning to move over to her clothes, when the blonde made it to her side.

"Quick!" Sara said.

"My clothes," Nora began.

"No time!" Sara said.

Nora opened her mouth to protest, then realized that protesting just meant Sara would drag her by her arm to the portal. Quickly making a decision, Nora chose to go with her, yanking her arm out of the blonde's grip to better cover herself.

"Faster!" Sara said. A slap on her ass spurred Nora on, and she stumbled through the portal as the square blinked out behind her. Awkwardly she straightened, suddenly seeing several more people in the room with her beyond just her family and the rest of Team Flash, all apparently shocked and delighted by the presence of the naked girl.

Nora flushed. She looked around for a moment. The floor and walls were made out of metal, and if she looked ahead there was a wide open window that opened onto some swirling green, marking her current location as some kind of ship. Mentally she filed that away as something to freak out about later.

Instead she spotted a leather jacket that had been left over the back of a chair. Quickly she darted over to it, picked it up, and held it over her front, awkwardly bunching it up so that it kept enough width to protect what little modesty she had left.

Sara breathed a sigh of relief.

"You made it," Sara said. "Good."

"Made it?" Barry said. "Is there time for an explanation now?"

"Yeah. And brace yourself," Sara said. "It's gonna be a long one."

What's next?
