You have no idea what this thing does, but you are not about to find out, for all you know it could be an obdurium amulet of positive energy aura +10 and kill you and everyone else instantly when you put the thing on! ~Nope.~ You think as you shove it in your pack in the hope of someday being able to identify it.

In the mean time, as you wait for your new friend Jenna to wake, you pull up your status screen to see what that new level up has bought you...

CLASS ABILITIES

Backstab: Increase damage dealt from attacks against a
target's AFT quadrant by 10% times Level.
Pickpocket: (10MP) Steal an item from the Target's pack 10%
of the time Times Level Minus Target's Agility.
Evasion: If your Agility is greater than the Agility of someone
using an area effect attack against you, you take half damage.

SPECIAL ABILITIES

Trapsense: You notice any trap with a concealment rating
less than your Perception from a range of 10 Times Level feet.
Boobie Traps: (20MP) you produce a trap that lasts 10
Minutes per level, dealing (Level to Level-times-5) damage
against a single target. It's concealment rating is equal to your
Level Times 5.
Dungeon Aegis: In the dungeon of >Cassowary's Crypt<, on

Level 2< and up, you may take command of any un-commanded
Ghouls< and make them part of your retinue. You may command
no more than >7< total >Ghouls< in this way, none of whom may
have class levels or be NAMED CHARACTERS.

Well, this is a welcome surprise! That "Evasion" ability actually looks useful, at least against roughly equal opponents... ~Who am I kidding?~ You think resignedly, assigning the extra stat point to appearance, as you intend to keep doing until you are at least average looking, ~The kind of adventurers that come through here these days? Not one of them would have Agility lower than mine.~ And yet, that thought is belied by the party you JUST defeated, and whom you have captured one of the members of and turned her, who they will PROBABLY be coming back for when she doesn't re-spawn in town... ~Perhaps it will be useful after all...~ You think with a smile.

Speaking of coming back for her, didn't they mention there were two other party members on their way back in? You might want to get Jenna the heck out of here before those crazies show up, or, on the other hand, from a distance she wouldn't look different. Heroes that became ghouls didn't have such crummy appearance scores as those 'born' to the race, you might be able use her **** body as bait and set another ambush...

Set a trap for her 'friends'?
