Jenna takes the cut of raw human flesh from you and suddenly there is a dagger in her hand, but you play it cool and watch as she cuts the meat into chunks the size of the first digit of her pinkie finger and begins to gag them down. She is about half way through when she drops the dagger and doubles over in pain, then passes out. You quickly pull up the Status Info Overlay and read what is happening with a grin:

You whistle a jaunty tune and start to consume the other cuts of meat you took and look over the treasures the adventurers dropped when you killed them. There are three 'Cheap Cloth Coin Pouches' with 54 Copper, 11 silver, and 3 Gold in them, which you combine into one, the empty pouches vanishing just as they spawned when their purpose was finished.

There also, and this was terribly amusing, was a 'clear crystal butt plug' one of the several hundred new 'sexual' items added to the game two expansions ago, when the designers finally decided that if there was going to be sex in the game at all they might as well go for broke. 'Butt Plugs' and 'Anal Beads' were magic items that took up an 'extra' slot which only opened up if you turned off the 'Adult Content Filter'. Most of them were 'crafted' items you had to make yourself or buy from other players, and they came in a bewildering number of styles and types, made from everything from polished wood to, so you have heard, magically stabilized lava. If the rumors are true that last one gives you 100% fire absorption, at the cost of lowering your max HP by 500 while you 'wear' it, and being EXTREMELY painful. You look over the stats of the 'clear crystal' one and see...

Decent item, for a spell-caster with the adult content filters off anyway. Probably belonged to the sorceress... ~She did look kind of like a whore.~ You think.

The rest are mostly small time, a few bronze throwing daggers and a string of prayer beads consecrated to Chitros, which you don't even dare touch much less examine their stats. Many prayer beads do contact 'holy' damage to undead, combination spell-casting aid and off hand weapon for priests in crypts like this one.

The only other item that really wows you is an amulet, made of black metal and carved with runes.

~Well, THIS is an interesting find...~ You think.

Equipping items instantly identifies them, but there ARE more than a few cursed items in the game, and ones that while not exactly cursed have very very bad effects if equipped by the wrong race or class, up to an including 'de-rezing', permanent **** of a character and erasing them from the game. You are sorely tempted to equip it, obdurium is one of the toughest metals in the game and it would almost certainly provide a defense bonus, but you are worried this might backfire.
