When she arrived on the 6th deck she discovered the truth about her cabin.

3rd class cabins are so small they had to share a communal bathroom on the end of the hallway. With her proverbial luck, hers was the one the farthest from it.

That and being on a lower deck without any window explained the price.

She looked at her luggage, taking most of the room occupied by the small bed in her cabin.

She was tired from the ride to the ship. With it having finally sailed away she decided to change in more confortable clothes.

But first, she really needed a shower. The wait in the queue to board in the blazing sun made her very sweaty, it couldn’t be proper to start her vacation and meet new people , wet and smelling.

As she did while in her dorm in college she stripped wraping herself in a towel and went to the showers.

She got out of her cabin and to the bathroom, the lenght to travel was longer than she expected and she began to regret not bringing a change of clothes.

As she went along she came across a lot of passengers. One of them a balding fat old man wearing a towel around his waist.

"Oh you are going to shower too young lady ?" He asked her.

"Yes do you know how it works ?" She asked.

"Yes I did this cruise before, you just pick a stall, there is soap and shampoo inside. Once finished there is a hamper for wet towels." He said removing his towel, showing her his...

Swimsuit! He was wearing swimwear under his towel. He hanged his towel on a hook in front of a stall.

"Oh and dont bring your towel inside, the water splashes everywhere ! Once you've showered the towel will be too wet to dry you." He added before getting in the stall.

Mackenzie did a big mistake bringing only her towel and her key.

She waited until no one was in sight and put her towel on a hook before jumping in a stall.

Seeing no place to store it she simply put the small key card on the floor against the wall.

She used the two dispensers to get soap and shampoo. These were the cheap stuff with a strong chemical smell. The shower itself could be better, it splashed water everywhere, very little on her, making it hard to rince and couldn’t be adjusted.

Cleaned and rinced she decided to go back to her room to get dressed and have a fresh start on her vacations
