Okay, lore time.

See, orcs mature much faster than humans. They were initially evolved for war, so physical development and maturity is prioritized over mental development. An orc babe remains cute and cuddly for about 3 years, then boom, instant teenagehood! Rapid growth is triggered at the onset of teenagehood and in about another 3 years, the orc will go from a toddler to a full fledged young adult. And that’s the orcish 18.

For all intends and purposes orcs at that age are 18 years old alright!? Everyone in this world treats them like 18-year-olds! Hell, these guys are even bigger than human 18-year olds and built like a fucking tank. When asked for their age, they’ve learned to provide the human equivalent, which is 18 years old!

So to be clear, in this world, orcs get one to six candles on their birthday cakes over the course of their first six years and then boom! 18 fucking candles on the cake the very next year. When you ask an orc to count to twenty, the orc will count to twenty. But when you ask an orc to list his ages up to twenty, he will say, “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 18, 19, 20.”

Due to their super fast rate of maturity and ahem… ultra fertility (They can basically breed with any race), the orcs had always been able to easily replenish their population despite being battle junkies who would readily go to war with anyone and anything at a drop of a hat. Their numbers had always been the key to their might throughout history. In ages past, the orc horde were a scourge upon the kingdoms of men, elves, dwarves... and ehhh, basically any dual-sex higher-species whose female half comes with a breeding slot.

Since the evolution of orcs were overwhelmingly geared towards physical development, not much points were left to be spent on mental attributes. As such, traditionally, orcs tend to be naturally dumb but ridiculously strong. This fact gave birth to the stereotype of orcs being air-headed muscle-jocks that persisted to this day.

Nowadays, the orcs have learned to pace themselves and many have relinquished their marauding and warlike ways in favor of more economical endeavors like adventuring, soldiering, mercenary-ing, etc.

Blue and green orcs in particular have pretty much integrated with human societies, though there are still some who cling on to their instincts, preferring to resort to brigandry and crime. Their brown and red cousins however are still wholeheartedly entrenched in their bloody ways of old and had established barbarian clan kingdoms in the southern wildlands, relishing every opportunity to pillage the human territories.

As for the civilized orcs, life wasn’t quite bad in the human kingdoms. Their hardiness and prowess in battle were a much sought-after commodity. Nearly every kingdom has their own orc military divisions and orc mercenaries were among the best types that silver could buy.

Living in human society also meant getting smarter for most orcs. Blue orcs in particular tend to capitalize more on intellect than their green brethren. Unsurprisingly, most orc mages tend to be blue, as well as those in leadership positions. Green orcs make up the overwhelming majority of grunts in combat roles.

Okay enough lore for now. Let’s establish your character background and traits.

So you were rescued as a baby by a group of 12 adventurers. They named you Gustav, or Gus for short, because the ruins where they found you was known as Gustav’s Erect Tower, in memory of Gustav Dingledong, the legendary halfling alchemist who has totally no problems getting it up, thanks to the infamous Dingledong potion which he had invented.

Over the years, you have studied the contents of the “Starter pack” so generously bequeathed to you by that asshole, God.

The pack was a throve of information about your world and your perks, specifically details on your cheat race, the Ultima Orc. The tomes in the starter pack were written in an indecipherable language that no one else but you can read, and you’ve been able to read it from the get go, ever since you were a baby orc.

Ultima Orcs were a variant of orcs that existed even before the recorded history of this world, the world of “Agaea.” In total there are a total of five millenniums of recorded history. Every thousand years was called an “age,” therefore, to date, a total of five ages have come to pass and you are in the midst of the sixth age. The year is 372.

It is believed that beings like orcs, humans, and elves have existed even before the first age, but curiously, there are no surviving records to be found. However, through the starter pack, you discovered that just as humans were the dominant race and the torch of civilization in the recent 5000 years, orcs were similarly in charge during the pre-first millenium era, and the race of orcs who stood above all the others during that era were the ultima orcs.

There weren’t much of other details about Ultima orcs’s history in the starter pack. All you could glean was that they were highly advanced in magic and technology, and had reached the zenith of self actualization, enabling some of them to uplift themselves to the level of gods. As such, ultima orcs of the time had certain innate powers that allows them to bend universal laws, giving them complete control over magic, divine miracles, and even psionic abilities. There was no information on why ultima orcs had come to cease to exist however.

A surprising amount of the literature was dedicated to a select few topics, namely slavery and breeding. Ultima Orcs, it appears, were God Level Apex Breeders. Once an ultima orc has come of age, females of all high races can’t help but be affected biologically, psychologically, and even spiritually, just by the virtue of being in the proximity of an ultima orc.

The ultima orcs were prolific slavers during their reign as well and they developed highly advanced magic techniques to maintain ownership and control of other sentient beings. One of the other tomes in the starter pack was a magic grimoire which was an exhaustive compendium of slavery magic.

Curiously, the moment you turned the first page of the grimoire, the writings and diagrams on the pages started fading until the entire tome became a blank book. You were about to panic, but you then quickly realized that the knowledge were now all in your head in perfect memory.

Finally, the last tome was a biological thesis on the reproductive anatomy of ultima orcs. Unusually large, the ultima orc’s penis has special sweat glands along the shaft and tip. While doubling as lubrication, the enzyme secretions from these glands has the uncanny effect of transforming and evolving the biological orifice that it was impaling, be it vaginal, anal, or oral.

The guild was a warm place and everyone treated you as their little nephew/brother. It was also packed with experienced people from all corners of life which became a solid base for you to broaden your education immensely. You became a jack-of-all-trades of sorts, thriving under the tutelages of veteran adventurer rogues, rangers, mages, fighters, clerics, and alchemists.

On your “18th” birthday, your adoptive family threw you a coming of age party…

2. The Prince of Thieves Route

You were rescued, but then you ran away with the circus when you were four. You were basically a freakshow because of your blue-green skin. However you were also extremely popular, particularly with the orcish audience.

Alas, a year later, your traveling troupe was accosted by brigands and you were left behind with the jester and other freaks while everyone else hightailed and got the fuck out of there. The brigands decided they could use an orc’s sword-arm, so they took you in. They also took in the jester and renamed him “Gloryhole Gilbert.”

You are now part of “Alicia’s Jackals,” the infamous band of brigands that is over two hundred people strong and growing. Your leader’s name is Alicia, the Brigand Queen, also known as Queen of Jackals, Lady of Avarice, The Blackhearted Baroness, The Bloody Baroness, or to locals, just “The Baroness.” Within a year you picked up the necessary skills to become an accomplished rogue, assassin, and ranger.

On your “18th” birthday, the Brigand Queen summoned you and gave you a mission…

3. The Empyrean Wizard Route

You were rescued by adventurers, but were then left with an orphanage at a nearby city. Two years later, your unique blue-green skin caught the eye of a passing noble enchantress who adopted you and made you one of her apprentices at her estate.

You took to magic and alchemy about as easily as you took to breathing, eating, and shitting, but it was in the arts of divine channeling, the bread and butter of the cleric class, that your talent shone with an impossible brilliance. Word quickly spread to the faraway Theocratic Principality of Divinica and rumors began swirling that a new Savior-Saint might have been discovered.

The noble enchantress’s estate was soon visited by a bishop from the principality, seeking to confirm the rumors with a series of tests. Should the rumors turn out to be true, you will be taken back to Divinica and turned into an eunuch monk to prepare you for your sainthood.

Oh yes. It would be the “snip-snip” for you. No one, not the noble enchantress, nor the king, nor the king of kings, will be able to deny you to the Principality thanks to the Grand Accord of Divine Will signed by all the human nations.

On the day of the test, you stepped forth from the group of gathered apprentices and stood before the Bishop, fully intending to fail hard at whatever test he throws at you. The Bishop proceeded to stare at you for about ten whole minutes with a polite smile frozen on his face. Then he turned to the enchantress and said, “Well, this has been fun, my lady. Isn’t it time for afternoon tea?”

The next day, the Bishop departed, and thereafter, all talk of a new Saint in the high social circles quickly evaporated. In hindsight, you realized that none of the other previous Saints throughout the continent’s 5000 year old history had ever been anything other than human.

On your “18th” birthday, the enchantress summoned you for tea and presented you with a personalized recommendation letter for you to attend the Royal Institute of Magic.
