You had considered leading Elise somewhere else, but she would despise you if she found out you tricked her.

"Okay, here we are," you say as you set her down on her feet. You drop your heavy bag and sigh with relief. With the loss of the burdens on your back, you try to straighten up and find you are only about half a head shorter than the elf.

"Okay, so where's this healing pool?" Elise asks.

You are suddenly afraid that once she is healed, she will be revulsed by your looks. So far, she didn't seem to mind your dry cracking skin though. This day has been incredibly lucky for you so far though, so you can only hope for the best.

"Here you are," you say leading her to the pool. "You can kneel down right here and drink."

"How deep is the pool? Do you think I can go in and wash up in it?" she asks instead. "I'm still covered in dry blood and feel so icky."

"I'm not sure, but it's a pretty big pond," you reply. "Maybe about 15 feet across, so it should be deep enough." An idea is forming in your head. Maybe the pool can also heal your skin and back. You've never really cared before, so never bothered to enter the pool and try.

"Okay, do you mind turning around while I take off my clothes?" she asks.

"Sure," you say. As promised you turn around - and quietly tip-toe over to enter at the other end of the pool. You can't help looking over your shoulder once to see her bending slightly to pull down her panties.

As Elise cautiously steps forward into the pool, you fully submerge yourself under. You feel the tight muscles in your shoulders relax and your skin burn slightly. Although nowhere near as smooth as the elf's, your skin is no longer as dry and cracked as it once was. Your back is still slightly bent over though, but you think if it wasn't you might be mistaken for a normal goblin.

Elise enters shoulder deep into the water, sighing with satisfaction as the wounds on her body close up and heal. Then she holds her breath and puts her head in the water. As she comes up, throwing her hair back, she exclaims "I can see!"

"That's great!" You shout, coming up right in front of her.

"Ahhh!!! What are you doing here?" Elise exclaims, folding her arms around her bare breasts.

"What? I was tired, sweaty and sore from caring you all the way here," you say innocently. "I needed a bath too. And I never saw you undress, which is what you asked isn't it?" You throw in that last lie for good measure.

She narrows her eyes at you suspiciously. "Sometimes I don't know what to make of you. But I guess you've never had any interaction with other intelligent beings before."

"I may not know much about people, but I do know that you should be thanking me after everything I've done, when I could have easily killed you, instead of always being suspicious!"

Elise blushes slightly at this. "Thank you," she murmurs.

"That's all fine and dandy, but I think you should do something to show your appreciation."

"And what do you suggest?" She asks.
