As fun as being scared was it looked like this wasn't going to end on its own and she still has the rest of the haunted house to explore she'd have to make her move the question was whether to move forward or backward...

If something was still holding her dress up and she tried to move forward and as a result deeper under the table out of their reach she might tear her only precious modesty preserving garment not that she can really claim to have modesty with her ass sticking in the air like this. Though if her dress does tear or even gets torn off completely at least she has this dark space under the table to hide in.

On the other hand if she backs out and something is still holding her dress she could wind up totally exposed and out in the open for a moment before she gets her dress back, but at least the dress will be in one piece... If she gets her dress back that is.

Both options had some frighteningly embarrassing prospects but at the same time the risks involved also made them sound fun to the sort of person who frequents haunted houses for a scare.
