Chapter 12 by Rowenar Rowenar

What does she choose?

The easy option

Bracing herself, Iris reached into her bag and swallowed a second pill, almost feeling the embarrassment wash away. She closed her eyes, then breathed out.

She didn't know what she'd been so concerned about. Shrugging, she crouched to pick up her book, hearing someone behind her idly drop their own book as she thrust her ass out.

Iris smiled to them as she walked past and headed back for a reading area. Back to research...

There wasn't much information on the Justice Society and seeming metahumans recorded, but it was at least something to go with. The oddities caused by this explosion were far from unique.

Iris stood up again. This time she walked to where there were a few computers, sitting by the closest and starting it up.

The chair was a cheap one; she shifted a few times to get comfortable, but even then the back was a thin support leading up to a cushion, meaning it did nothing to block her nudity or her ass from the view of those behind her. Not that she minded.

Iris started up her blog and began typing up her article. The particle accelerator announcement, the explosion, and then a final section on abilities. Occasionally she had to refer to a book; still, she was pretty proud of it-

The she shrieked again, caught off-guard. Damn it, it had worn off. Crossing one arm over her chest, the panicked Iris fumbled with her bag. One more, just one more...

She swallowed, whimpering, and then gratefully stopped caring.

Back to the important things. She spent a few seconds on google to check related articles, then smiled; huh, it seemed like she might be the first person to mention meta-humas. Then again she did have a bit more of a privileged position on that subject.

If that was the case though, her blog might be due to get more hits. She saved the post as a draft, then went into settings, tidying the whole site up. She'd done so before, but it was best to get it as good as possible.

Something was missing...

Right! A picture of the journalist would add the final touch. She adjusted the library-supplied camera, trying to get a good angle. She smiled into the lens, as professional as she could look, and took the photo.

The background did leave a little to be desired, but she kind of liked it. With a little touching up, it made her look more dedicated rather than just being a generic mugshot.

The image showed her upper body; her face, and a glimpse of her tits at the bottom, dark nipples just in frame. Iris beamed, pleased with how it had come out.

Next step was to upload, and... done. Then she posted the article after checkig for typos, and logged out, waiting for the inevitable traffic that article would bring.

Seeing nothing wrong with what she'd done, Iris stood up. Well that was her business sorted. Bag over her shoulder, she headed out onto the street.

Does anything happen to her?
