Chapter 57 by dead_account dead_account

I want a girlfriend so bad. Alexa, play Another One Bites The Dust by Queen

The author has a question for you readers...

_Tl;dr - _Should I Lucasfilm my old chapters since I think they suck dick, or nah?

Hey ya’ll, it’s me, your favorite dysfunctional writer with the horrible update schedule. Got a sort of serious question I’d like to ask to see how you guys would react.

I first made this story about maybe two or three years ago (Jesus Christ, time flies...) and rereading the first couple of chapters that I wrote to introduce Wet Dreams, I can’t help but cringe at how I started off the story. Wet Dreams was originally just a way for me to practice writing sex stories that allowed me to dump whatever ideas I had at the time as just a bunch of random collections of sex scenarios. At some point however, I suddenly began writing a serious story in the middle of it all and then the whole thing suddenly became popular overnight as it landed on the Feature section of the site for the first time.

Comparing to the current direction to how the story is going and how the story originally started out, I feel sort of embarrassed as I reread my former writing style two years ago. It doesn’t represent the quality of the later future chapters that I’m proud of now, and it could use a bit of retcons here and there to make the plot flow a little better. There are a bit of plot holes here and there that I’d like to change and update to fit the story I have in mind better...

This is where you come in, as I need your honest opinions.

Even though the first few chapters in this branch are the original chapters that got everyone to start reading Wet Dreams, I’m not too proud of them. I want to change them to fit more into the current style that I have going on to better represent how much the story evolved since I first started. In order words, I want to George Lucas the shit out of the first dozen or so chapters I made two years ago in order to feel better about myself.

However, I do know how some people might feel when an author suddenly fucks up their own story simply because they’ve change. Maybe the audience of the story doesn’t want anything to change, and to keep the origins of the story as pure and original as it first came out.

So I ask you folk, should I take the time to rewrite the older chapters and update them to better fit with my vision of the story I have planned out? Or should I leave them as they originally are for history to see, and spend time focusing on writing future chapters instead to get the story moving along?

I don’t want to do anything without people’s permission. Wet Dreams was a lightning in a bottle that got me semi-popular on this site and helped me get to know tons of new people who became fans of what I wrote. My stories are your stories, and your opinion matters to me greatly. Without you guys, I would have gotten bored of this story a long time ago and abandoned it like a mother abandoning an unwanted child at a bus stop.

If you guys don’t mind me changing the old stuff, I’ll be working on reworking what currently exists into better versions of themselves, ones that are better written and flow more seamlessly. Less plot holes, forgotten details rewritten, characters acting more like how they currently act now instead of how weird they acted when they were first introduced. Things like that.

If you guys care a lot about preserving the story the way it is, I won’t even bother to think about it anymore. I’ll do my best to keep looking forward and stop worrying about the past in order to get more new chapters coming out so that the story can keep going.

Let me know what you guys think in the comments.

If I don’t get any comments at all, I’ll kill myself with this rusty old knife I found in my attic. I SWEAR TO GOD, I’LL DO IT! I’M CRAZY BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!

More fun
