Straight to the Lab

You were tempted to snoop around since you were unlikely to be caught by the lazy security guard, but it was almost 7pm and you had said you'd be there.

You go up the elevator the to the third floor, stepping out you see you are in a small room with only one glass door on the other side, a keycard reader blinks red on the door. A small button and speaker is on the wall to the left of the door. All you could see to the other side of the door is a plain white room. Seeing no other option you press the button. After a few moments your Aunt's voice comes over the speaker.

"Jesse?"

"It's me Aunt Peg." You respond.

The door buzzes and you open the door and head through. You see there are glass doorways to your right and left. Your Aunt and a short thickly built black woman probably in her mid 30's enter in through the door to your right. Both wear lab coats with professional clothes beneath.

"Jesse my boy! I'm so glad you came." Aunt Peg begins. "This is Lucy, my assistant. She knows about everything so don't worry, she can be trusted."

You nod a hello to Lucy and she returns it.

Peg continues. "We have some papers and waivers for you to sign and then we can get started. Again, I can't thank you enough Jesse, this means a lot to me and my research. Now, I'll leave you in Lucy's capable hands." She leans in and gives you a peck on the cheek. "I'll see you in a bit." She turns and leaves back through the door.

"Follow me." Lucy says as she heads to the other door.

You follow her. You are taken to a small examination room and given a quick preliminary physical. Blood pressure, etc. You are then given a stack of forms to sign. They all looked so official. The medical jargon in them meant you really couldn't understand half of it. You trusted your Aunt though and just signed them in quick succession.

Lucy takes them away then returns with a hospital gown. "Get changed please." She requests. "I'll be just outside when you're ready." She leaves the room.

You were so curious what was going to happen next, and a little apprehensive. You'd never been a lab rat before. You strip down nude then put on the hospital gown. Leaving your clothes on the examination table you step out of the room.
