Chapter 2 by HoeBiden HoeBiden

Which Woman Will Hear The Comments of Corruption?

Stephanie Brown/The Spoiler, Vigilante Extraordinaire

Okay, it might have been a bit of a stretch to call her extraordinary, especially with so many other heroes surrounding her. But she is the only person who's been both Batgirl and Robin. Now she's back to her old Spoiler identity, seemingly just another member of Batman's ever growing community of Gotham heroes. She stood at a solid 5'5", with blonde hair flowing from her head depending on which cowl she was in.

A series of villains had escaped Arkham recently, and each one had been delegated to a group of two members of the Batfamily. So Stephanie, having woken up tool late to get a good pick, was stuck fighting Maxie Zeus alongside Robin, who happened to be her former boyfriend.

"Steph, it's not like he isn't a serious villain," Tim said as he launched his grappling gun again to swing from a different building.

"You act like I don't know that," Stephanie said with a bit of a huff as she did the same.

"You look bored, like you'd rather be fighting someone else."

"I'd rather that there weren't any crime to fight at all."

"I don't think that's honestly been true for either of us for a while." There was a slight pause in the conversation with that before it reignited. "But still, he almost killed me the first time I fought him."

"And he left you alive because he thought Babs was the Oracle from Greek Myths." There was another pause before the pair landed on the warehouse Maxie Zeus was holed up in.

The villain stood up quickly from his throne made up of whatever he could find. "I knew you two would find me eventually," he said, with a sneer reminiscent of a toddler about to throw a tantrum. He took out a box that seemed Greek based on its design, though it was hard to tell exactly what it was. "Well I'm sure the threat of me opening Pandora's box will keep you away from spoiling my plans!"

Stephanie looked doubtful and spoke with a mocking tone, "Please, that's the stuff of myths."

"I've met some of those myths," Robin said, advising Stephanie to stay cautious.

But Stephanie didn't listen, lunging for the villain. As she did, he opened up the box, and vapors came out of it, just like the Pandora's box of myths. But instead of being released into the world, they went into her. As the vapors crowded around and into her, she started to hear voices.

What do they say?
