She arrives in Japan unscathed

Mackenzie made her way through security without much hassle and soon found herself boarding the plane. One very long but not unbearable plane ride later, Mackenzie had officially arrived in Tokyo, Japan! After a long journey of retrieving her checked bag, getting a ride to her hotel, and checking in for her stay, Mackenzie was finally able to plop down on her bed, utterly exhausted. Her rudimentary knowledge of Japanese had helped her greatly, and she had barely needed to use the apps. Additionally, as this was a hotel that catered largely to Americans and Canadian tourists, the hotel staff all spoke perfect English!

After a long nap, Mackenzie woke up feeling at least partially refreshed. Thanks to the time change, it was early in the morning, she found, despite her feeling like it should have been evening. Mackenzie figured this was the perfect chance to jump into one of the experiences here she had dreamed about for so long. She could head out and go shopping in one of the famous districts, or get some authentic Japanese cuisine from a real shop, or even try out a genuine hot spring that was nearby. There were so many other possibilities too, that Mackenzie was going to have a hard time making up her mind!
