Settling in

Over the next few days, Rebecca found herself not really focusing on the changes as much as just experiencing the facet of being both a woman and a wife to a man (She even began to think and refer to herself in the feminine, her mind easily adapting despite the drastic change of circumstances). It wasn't that difficult either, the absence of anything between her legs and the added changes in the way her body moved and handled itself seemed to be somewhat on auto-pilot. If she didn't think about it too much, she found herself unconsciously blending in with her new life and surroundings.

Speaking of blending in, the two of them had managed to take the last packets and found themselves on an airplane a few hours later, landing in a different part of the country and finding a car waiting for them, under their new assumed names. Rebecca slid into the passenger seat while David hopped behind the wheel and as they pulled out, the two of them just laughed at the ease in which they settled into the roles that they found themselves in. While both agreed that the changes would take a bit of time to get used to, David held her hand and said that he was glad that they could do this together. She smiled and squeezed it too.

The house they arrived at was a decent house, two stories, and had a good sized yard tucked into a cul de sac. It was late in the morning when they arrived and the lights were off, though it gave them some time to explore around without raising some suspicion among neighbors. While he took some time to check out the basement, Rebecca found herself going upstairs to looking at the rooms on the top floor. There were three rooms and a bathroom. According to their documents, they had two kids, two girls, ages 7 and 9. For the next few days, they would be away at camp. Ostensibly, it was a summer camp but she knew that it was actually going to be so that their DNA could be matched with several pink pill users. She laughed at that, two strangers suddenly joining their family, but she just nodded and moved on.

"Hey, where are you?"

She reached the banister and looked down at David who was looking up at her from the front door. "Listen, I was wondering if you needed anything? I was going to check out the stores around here."

Rebecca shook her head. "No, I'm just checking out the girls' rooms. There's one more room up here," she pointed out and after waving David off, she turned and went back into the third room. It was a plain guest room from the looks of it but a part of her began to wonder what else it could be used for...
