Chapter 3 by JimJoeBob JimJoeBob

Why is Ryuko naked?

Senketsu has been stolen.

Years have past since the rise and fall of the life fibers and the destruction destruction of Honnō City. Since then the life fibers returned and war was wadged between them and man until peace was made, allowing a coexistence between the two species. As a testament of peace, Satsuki Kiryūin use the vast amount of wealth built by her mother to rebuild Honnō City and Honnōji Academy. The school would serve as an introduction of of life fibers into human life; life fibers were woven into fully sentient outfits given to students as soon as they were accepted. Honnōji City was rebuilt with the Japanese equivalents of a pre-school, grade school, and middle school as well as a University, all spread about the city. Honnōji Academy and Honnōji University stand tall on two lone hills high above the rest of the city, a beacon of unity between man and life fiber as they are both raised from the moment of education and birth respectively. The university even has a military school and boot camp to train a new type of soldier for the the governments of the world. All countries unified to fight the former enemy and now seek to build more olive branches by constructing thier own Honnō Cities all across the globe. The only ones to oppose the peace was the Nudist Beach organization as most of thier members still believe the life fibers, or at least a good amount of them, to be evil parasites planning to take over the Earth. Other members went as against the life fibers now, but wished to live a life free of clothes and even fewer aught to see the world rid of garments. That minority along with some from sects believing life fibers to still be evil, have made various attacks around the world and given Nudist Beach a bad name and branding all members as terrorists.

Ryuko has recently moved back with her sister and the Mankanshoku family to Honnō City. There she and Mako attend school at the university and plans on spending her school semesters with Mako's family. When she's off, she wishes to stay with her sister at their vacation home where Satsuki gets away from being the mayor of New Honnō. Satsuki also serves as the university's dean and her friends have taken up similar positions of power. Nonon was appointed as the grade school and preschool principal, Gamagōri heads the middle school, Inumuta was put in charge of the high school, Uzu took charge of training the cadets at the military camp and academy, and Shirō is Satsuki's aide and acting mayor whenever she's gone.

Ryuko woke up late in the afternoon. Her and Mako's first class today isn't going to start for a few hours. She rose from her bed, dressed in her bunny pajamas that left much of her midriff exposed, and walked to the window. Her hands quickly opened the curtains to show in the bright daylight shining on the beautiful city of New Honnō then shut just as fast. The young girl scowled and growled as she groggily shuffled to her bathroom and stripped off her pajamas before tossing them into the hamper next to the sink. Her fair skinned body met the warm running water of the shower and two small girlish hands coated in body wash. After cleansing her more private parts, she moved onto washing her short raven hair adorned with her signature red highlight. A turn of the nobs and the water trickle to a couple of drops as she stepped out of the shower, wrapped herself in two towels before brushing her teeth. Ryuko's hamper was now empty which she just suspected to be the work of Mrs. Mankanshoku doing the laundry, so added the towels and moved back into the bedroom. Her bare feet stepped across the carpet toward the closet which contained her beloved Senketsu.

Senketsu had been rewoven during the Life Fiber War, where he and Ryuko had reunited. The door swung open with ease only to reveal the small room to be empty besides her pie of white sneakers. Ryuko was shocked, her friend and only set of clothing was missing! "What the hell!", she shouted, "Someone must of stolen Senketsu! But who?!" In the corner of her eye, Ryuko spied a note on her dresser that had never been there before, "What the hell is this..."

"Hey!", it read, "If you're looking for Senketsu, I have taken him. If you want him back, you'll have to see me and do what I ask. Signed, Matarō. ;)"

"Oh that little bastard!", she shouted, slamming the letter violently onto her dresser. "Although, I really should get some more clothes...Well at least I have the bathroom towels, if that crafty little squirt hasn't taken them too. Mako's at school by now so she can't lend me anything and Mrs. Mankanshoku is probably washing every stitch in the house...and she really doesn't like being interrupted during laundry time. She's the nicest woman until then. I don't want to have to walk around like some crazy woman wearing only a towel and shoes, but I REALLY don't want go down to that twerp. Wait? Is he even still here? Maybe he skipped school..."

In her contemplation, she remembered something, "Oh!", she exclaimed, "I have some money in my wallet! Oh!! I could also call Satsuki with my phone! She could help me!" Ryuko rushed back to the dresser she had wandered from and pulled open the first drawer (which never contained any clothes so I have no idea why she has it). Inside was her wallet, open with no cash inside and unaccompanied by her cellphone. "Come on!"

Another note lay beside her wallet; she picked it up and brought it to her face. "P.S. Thanks for the cash!", it said. Ryuko clenched her fist, crumpling the note in her hand as she growled then began to scream furiously as she smashed the dresser to pieces with her fists.

What's Ryuko's plan?
