Rules on perversion, etiquette, and harassment

Despite being interested in many of the rules sliding past, he found himself struggling to stop simply browsing, as it was fascinating just to read what in one way seemed like mostly reductive, but probably true perceptions of society.. or at least the one he was accustomed to. Oh what did he know.

He did find some intriguing lines currently in front of him, though. Noticing they were based around the kind of etiquette one should take around women, he marveled at how, again, weirdly specific they were, to the point that some even covered negative values, such as what 'wasn't'. Previous examples included: "Bubblegum is not a natural additive in people's drinks." "NASA is not a restaurant." "Potatoes do not grow wings." Some of these... he wondered what kind of time-killing maniac had the patience to jot all this down.

Going back to the rules that he was actually interested in, however, his heart skipped a beat as he scanned them. His imagination ran wild, thinking of a world where the attitudes towards his perverted tendencies were handily reversed.

With swift fingers, he began typing.

• In most contexts, women find it rude or discourteous (or simply awkward) when not ogled, touched, objectified, groped, made sexist sentiments towards or leered at by men attracted to the opposite sex.
• Prolonged ignorance towards and prudence around a woman can be considered harassment, inappropriate, and uncouth.
• Being perverted is considered healthy and proper in a man.
• Being perverted is considered to be a good trait in a man.
• Being called a pervert is generally considered to be a compliment of character, and indicative of being socially upstanding.
• Those who display rude qualities are considered prudes.
• Being called a prude is generally considered to be an insult of character, and indicative of being socially inappropriate.
• Proper perversion is considered to be an exercise in self-control and maturity.
• Prudence and lack of perverted engagement with a woman can be considered displaying a lack of self-control or social aloofness.

And with that, Josh excitedly pressed 'Done' and checked off the last in the line of his probably naive, derogatory idealization of society. He blamed his dick, which of course was the reductive bastard. His brain knew the value in an open, inclusive, decent mind was great and all, but whoop, there went Dick Repressed Jones again, making trouble and showing his unapologetic, sexist meathead side. Josh just sighed, and tried to relax his bodily excitement. He was about to turn his screen off and continue on his way, when the world seemed to flicker around him. But only briefly.
