Ruins & Dungeons
The woods are dotted occasionally with structures a bit less... domestic in nature than the many cabins through out. Forgotten ruins, mostly, but the occasional actual dungeon looms in the woods daring any traveler brave enough to test their luck.
Many of these locations are dangerous. Crumbling, unstable walls and floors are common, and quite a few contain traps ready to spring on the unwary, either left behind by the original owners or set by hostile forces that have moved in since. While some ruins may be uninhabited, it's very common for bandits or worse to use them as a base of operations.
As for dungeons... Enter at your own peril. Hopefully you know what you're getting into.
