Chapter 17 by akikuka akikuka

And so began his first step to become a magician.

The time where you finally did something useful in your life(that's Issei's thought on the matter.)

It was joyful moment for Issei, as he walk through school.

He, had learn magic, and through coincidence it may be one of the most useful ones.

Apparently the magic he just did is called writing magic(go figure), it is a simple magic that channels from his finger or a medium like a wand to create a layer like ink on a surface(though some alteration would allowed carving). It is a relatively easy spell that can be dispelled by any novice magician unless it is made from an expert who would like put something else to make it harder to remove.

Its mostly used in conjunction with Rune magic or magic talisman, where it focuses on symbols that have special effects. Otherwise its just a parlor trick. At least that's what he read it does.

Fortunately for him, his magic letters still follow the same principle as his Ownership, he had check by writing putting his name on other books and asking his parent who does belong too, including other objects, they all respond it is his. so anything he writes with this magic is still viable.

"With my Ownership, its a convenient writing tool," no need for pen or marker to write. And if he began to master it, he may not need to move his fingers.

"Well, better tell Shitori-san,"

By some luck, he manage to meet Sona Shitori(Sitri) in an empty corridor, besides her is two girls who has a black and wear glass while another has White hair.

Though he would have guess that the mark is removed, knowing it had not much effect though, he simply greets her.

"Shitori-san," Issei greeted, Sona notices and greets back.

"Hello Hyoudou-san, is the book helpful to you?" She asked,

"Yup, it does help, look" He showed his glowing fingers to prove it.

"Writing Magic... and you even manage to harness your mana." She murmured, sounding a little bit impressed that someone who practically didn't know about magic just manage to learn in just a day.

"Yup, it's thanks to your book."

"That's good to hear," Hmm? Did he just see a faint of smile "But I must advice to not show those trick to anybody that does not know the existence of magic. Our secrecy is crucial," She said seriously, and Issei nod

"Oh yeah," It seems there is a masquerade, well, he can't show this to his buddies then, less some enforcer came knocking on his door.

"Still though, its kinda easier than I thought." He admitted, he would not have thought to be that easy.

"Different people have different specialties, there are a few magician that are good at specific things, either because of their natural talent or their Sacred Gear." Sona stated.

"Does that mean my Sacred Gear make any magic involves writing easy to master?" So its just like someone born being good at one thing like drawing.

Actually, now that he thinks about it, he is good at drawing(mostly cute chicks), and his calligraphy is quite good. So is it because of his Sacred Gear?

"Regardless, can I borrow the book for a bit," Not sure why he ask, he could have own it to himself, even already wrote his name, but maybe its just the principle of things.

"Of course, you may keep it, I do have a copy already," She said,

"Eh? You and Hyoudou-san are acquaintances?" The white hair girl known as Momo exclaimed. Eh,

"I would admit, seeing the resident pervert and a strict president student council is a rare sight too see." Her advisor said.

"Hmmm, I guess."

Simple interactions, a chapter with explanation of the vague magic system.
