Azula hides out

Azula crouched in the alleyway, feeling mud squish between her bare toes. She had to take stock of the situation.

The good news was, nobody was looking at her right now. The streets outside the hotel had been fairly empty and only a couple of people had caught glimpses of her bare bottom as she'd sprinted, squealing, down the public road. They probably hadn't even recognised her. There was still time to get out of this with her dignity intact. All she had to do was get back to the hotel.

The bad news was she wasn't totally sure where the hotel was. When she'd fled into the streets, she hadn't been able to think of anything but putting distance between herself and the Avatar. And now she couldn't remember the way she'd came. But that was alright. All she had to do was find some useless peasant, take their clothes, tie them naked to something as punishment for being such a useless peasant, then ask somebody for directions. Easy. If anyone claimed to have seen her running nude across town not a moment before, she'd just call them crazy. Princesses didn't run across town naked. It just couldn't happen.

Yes, things were looking up for Azula. She'd easily make it back to the hotel. Of course, right now she was naked and muddy and alone and trapped in an alleyway with the Avatar looking for her and so angry and embarrassed she could scream, but that was just a detail. She could work that out. The important point was that she was going to get home. Easily. With all her clothes on. Or at least someone else's clothes.

And then Ty Lee and Mai were in for it.

She was just thinking about all the cruel, naughty, mean, degrading, delicious punishments she was going to inflict on the two unfortunate Fire Nation girls when she looked up and saw a shadow flit across the mouth of the alley. A vaguely Ty Lee-shaped shadow. And she heard a voice cry out "Azula? Where are you?"
