Start with the basics

"Now, whenever you are in this trance you will only be able to follow my commands, unless I specifically tell you to follow someone else's command. You won't realize what's happening, and won't consciously remember anything about this trance. Whenever I snap my fingers, you will come out of this trance. Whenever I say the word 'Sleep' you will get back in it."

With that, Amanda turned to the audience. "Ladies and Gentlemen, at this point you must realize that there's the possibility of Mackenzie faking this trance. So, in order to prove my hypnotic powers are real, I will allow a random member of the audience to insert commands." This earned some cheers from the people, alongside confused muttering.

"As some of you might have noticed by now, I've put a card for every seat on the table it was placed at. Some of you might be wondering why they were there, and here's the answer." With that she reached for something offstage, which was revealed to be a rolling table with an empty lottery device and a glass bowl filled with balls on it. "As you can clearly see, each of these balls has a completely different number on it. Now, all I need to do is this-" As she was talking, she was filling the device with the balls. "- and just pull out 3 random balls. Bear in mind, these first 3 balls are just to show you guys that it really is random." And 3 random balls did come out, showing entirely different numbers, before Amanda put them back in.

"Now, I will pull just one ball out. If you have a card with the same number on it, you may come on stage if you want. If you don't, or if the winners seat is unoccupied, then I will just get a new one. Whoever our lucky winner is will be able to make my lovely assistant do whatever they want!" With that, some excited cheers came again.

"Good luck to everyone here!" And with that, Amanda pulled a random ball out, clearly showing it to the audience. "Will our lucky number 51 join us?"
