So, back in the Labyrinth you come, the plan still in motion to investigate, and perhaps manipulate, your own mind. "All right," you encourage yourself. "Here we go." You stand before the door to your own subconscious, with two hands snaking over your shoulder which made you jump a bit.

"Surprise," your Id smiled. At this point, it didn't surprise you that he was wearing his snazzy suit.

"Come to wish US luck?" you joke.

"How'd you know...?" he retorted. But his grin soured into a straight line. "Now look. In all seriousness, just don't go messing around too much in there, okay? I like who I am, thank you very much. And maybe while you're in there, try giving yourself a bit more confidence, huh?"

You glare back at him for that suggestion, but... Maybe... It would help to stop the 'what ifs' you might have in the future. You turn your head back and reach for the knob, turning it and pulled the door open. Inside was very dark, practically no light at all! And even though it seemed there was no telling what Inner Demons awaited you in there, they wouldn't be any threat to you. If you don't let them...

"Well?" your other goaded. "What are you waiting for, Thanksgiving? Go in already." You had to take a deep breath to steady your nerves, and more importantly, block out the peanut gallery behind you. So you finally start taking steps through the door, and immersing yourself into the darkness. All of a sudden...

*BANG!*

The door closed behind you! Now, it was pitch-black. But in your surprise, you didn't forget that you just dived into your own mind. So it didn't have to stay dark for long. Closing your eyes to concentrate, you envisioned what the inside of your mind look like. In broad daylight.

In your journey through the dreams of other people you've been with, your dream world was something to behold: the landscape was a lush green valley around you; a city was between two hillsides while a castle was in the middle of it all, atop a huge hill.

There were many other sights to see: creatures such as minotaurs, pegasi, gryphons, a few elves, couple of dwarves, and so much more... "Dang..." you mused. "If I had known I was this creative, I would have visited HERE first."

But this was not the time to get hung up in your self-revelation. You had a job to do, and that was to figure out what happened in middle school so you could help Tiffany. Before you got started, something was bothering you:

Why was Tiffany so bent on reinventing herself to please other people...? You wish the answer was clear in your mind, but being in your own mind didn't seem to make sense of things.

So you close your eyes once again, concentrating on the first day that you and Tiffany met. You found yourself sitting in the same classroom all those years ago, in the exact same seat. You look around, to make sure that you could see another version of yourself.

No, not your ID, but your younger self.

But he was nowhere to be seen. And pretty soon it dawned on you: you were taking his place. At that moment, the scene begin playing and Past Tiffany showed up in the doorway, looking demure and cute as ever.

You both seem to make eye contact, and that was when you had a choice to make...

Option 1: you do something you should have done all those years ago and actually ask Tiffany out. You confessed your love to her in her dreams already, so you should have the confidence to ask her in yours.

Or option 2: you just let the scene play out, find out what Tiffany was talking about to help get through to her in the real world. But that would mean replaying your mistake and lose Tiffany again.
