Another Secret Revealed

Fiona continues. "Let's have it all out Mom. He needs to know the rest."

You mother nods in agreement. "Yes, of course."

"There's more!?" You exclaim.

"Yes." Your mother responds. "You see, given our condition and given our family's decision to keep it secret, only a very few people know the truth about our family. Doctor Tremblay of course and just a few others. We don't reveal our secret to any potential mates until very late in the courtship, only when we are absolutely sure they can be trusted and they could be happy with us."

You notice Elsie is smiling hard at you right now, Fiona is still sneering and looking down on you derisively.

Your mom continues. "This makes it very difficult to find partners. Sexual partners. So...we look after each other."

"You...you look after each other? Like...you mean sex?" You say dumbfounded. This was all too much!

Your mother nods enthusiastically. "Yes! We're very careful of course, but yes. And..." She and Elsie are looking at you expectantly. "...now that you know the secret...if you're interested...maybe you could, um, join in?"

Another flash of insight comes to Elsie all of a sudden. "Oh my god! Now we don't have to be so quiet! No more sneaking around in the middle of the night! No more biting into a pillow!" She is antsy with excitement.

Fiona laughs. "That's right Sis, scream to heart's content now."

"Okay, okay. Calm down girls." Your mother chuckles. "This is a big day, I know. Back to the subject at hand, what do you say Jesse? Do you want to join in on the family fun?"
