Piñata Filling

You turn from the game to meet the pleading look the angel casts about the crowd. As you approach, a look of relief replaces it, and she smiles at you. "I'll help," you tell her.

"Thanks a bunch," she replies, opening the door of the little shed to welcome you inside and fumbling with her wings in the doorway.

You enter the dark little room, nose quickly filled with the smell of chocolate and other various candies. As your eyes adjust, you see a large plastic pumpkin on a table in the middle of the shed with a big hole in the top. Piles of candy are sitting all around the dusty old workshop, certainly in unsanitary places, but you're no health inspector.

The angel walks over to a pile and plucks a lollipop from it, proceeding to unwrap the sucker and stick it in her mouth. "Alright, just shovel it in the pumpkin," she says as she begins taking handfuls, stepping up on the table to reach the hole atop the big piñata.

You follow her lead and scoop up the sweets in your hands, but it's then that you notice the difference in height between you two, and even standing on the table you can't quite reach the hole. The angel seems to see your trouble, holding up a finger as she turns around.

"Hold on. Here, use this," she says, presenting a step ladder. You thank her, and climb the steps, now able to reach the top of the pumpkin. You dispense your candy, peering down into the dark space inside. It's a very big piñata.

After a few handfuls, you begin to think it'd take far too long to completely fill the thing, but of course it doesn't need to be filled to the brim, does it? A little bit longer and the angel sighs, pausing with her arms crossed.

"Hey, how full is it? Can you take a look?" she asks, glancing up at the top of the piñata.
