Confusion

Josh opened his eyes to see Penelope still asleep on his chest. He was about to gently wake her up when he noticed something. Her rabbit ears were gone. Confused, Josh looked around the room. He quickly noticed there were some differences to the room from the last time he saw it. The biggest change was the calendar, which was now 9 months from yesterday, if that was yesterday.

Josh reached out for his pants, and pulled out his phone. Opening it up, he saw the background was now a picture of him and Penelope, but he did not remember it being taken. He frantically looked through his phones apps, but the rules were gone.

With Josh in a near panic, Penelope woke up. After a confused talk with her, he found out that the world was normal. The old normal, not the normal he remade it into. He did meet Penelope on the same day and had asked her out. After a few dates, Penelope and him had grown close and eventually gotten married.

After hearing all this, Josh started to remember the events of the last 9 months. Or was he? Did the app go onto someone else and this happened to him? Or was it all a dream?
